    It's gonna be hard for anyone to win with Luka šŸ’Æ as much as I like him,he either won't or can't get back on defense, doesn't even try tošŸ¤¦

    Itā€™s ridiculous how much points from one player are in the headlines. Scoring 60 means nothing if they score 70 on you, thatā€™s some basic algebra cheese

    This is why you have to be careful before saying a player carried a team. Luka had a great squad last year but unfortunately, the Dallas Mavericks got rid of them.

    Sure defense is issue but the team has no depth. Other than kyrie and Luka everyone else is mid. Only decent role player is hardaway.

    Yall have to remember though, the Mavs, in particular Cuban, did this trade for Kyrie, it's not the other way around, Cuban got desperate and traded away the little defense they had and draft capital to get Kyrie. Kyrie was just wanting out of Brooklyn he didn't care where to go ofc he had preferences but again he wanted out and wanted to secure bag long term. He's actually not the cancer in this scenario, it's Cuban who destroyed the Mavs chances.

    Now yes because of this trade, they are free falling, but this isn't on Kyrie this time. Either case, the Mavs are pretty much done this season and will become the 1st team in the modern era, that has made 2 WCF one year to completely miss the playoff the next year. And people will blame Kyrie because of the past he's had, but this is squarely on Cuban this year.

    And the funny thing out of this, because of this disaster there's a good chance Kyrie may not be back next year with the Mavs and the little capital they have now, makes it oddly possible this team could very easily be in tank mode next year if Cuban can't get creative and potentially wasting Luka's prime with this disaster that has taken place. And it's even possible Luka himself may not last in Dallas. Just to think a WCF team to a tank team possible in just 2 years.

    What's funny is that the Mavs could still do some serious damage if they made the playoffs. I'd favor them over both the Nuggets and Wolves.

    No team with a slow-footed center wants to see them. But, because they don't play enough defense, no team with a slow-footed center will have to see them in the playoffs.

    Itā€™s the horrible defense and turnovers that kill the mavs. As a team they shot 61 percent. Easy way out is blame Kyrie
