When the Gobert trade happened a lot of Timberwolves fans were dumbfounded. It made no sense. Maybe they are finally figuring things out.

Kyle Anderson is Minnesotas best free agent signing of all time. Having been drafted by Pops and starting in San Antonio definitely helped guide him into a facilitator and floor general that we never have consistently since we didn't foster a culture like that in the KG era

It definitely took them a long time to figure their shit out. Before the KAT injury their halfcourt defense was awful. I think next season they'll be legit contenders in the west if healthy.

The DLo trade was a rare win-win-win for all teams involved. Mike Conley's veteran presence and chemistry with Rudy Gobert were exactly what this team needed.

Great video. Love this, but you HAVE to mention Kyle Anderson… he has been absolutely brilliant this year. One of the best free agency pick ups in Wolves history
yeah connolly only costed the wolves a 1st round draft, congrats. Don't get me wrong I'm glad he's playing well, but the dlo trade from the start was a poor decision, and winning those last 3 or 4 games last year to give the warriors (what was it the 3, 4, or 5th pick in the draft last year?) was just horrible. And paying 4- 1st's for gobert is going to bite them in the ass. This team has been mismanaged for so long, not sure if they can dig themselves out of that hole anytime soon. But hopefully then can start to manage things properly, getting rid of glen taylor is a good start.

I like watching the wolves play real team basketball. It's hard to lose when everyone looks like they are together and especially playing sellout defense. The NBA is still a joke when it comes foul calls and needs to get tougher like in the 90s for it to be a good product again but I would have loved to see this team play Jordan's Bulls in their prime

Unless your scoring +25 efficiently, the looks taken away from teammates is a huge risk factor and not worth it.
I’m a wolves fan. I think if we get that 6 seed against the kings then we have a real chance of making it to the second round. I don’t think we get past that but that’s a good look for the future of the franchise

Call me salty but they’ve been better since the new years loss to the pistons and again after the deadline. Just cause they play a couple west coast games and people remember their all nba player was out, it’s wow who could have known after months of crap. While everyone was confirming their gobert priors, the wolves have the second best record vs winning teams and secured tiebreakers over nearly the entire west.
I am not taking any former haters on the band wagon. It’s closed.
