I think the difference between an elite team like Boston and this raptors team was glaring at the end. The execution under pressure in a close game and ability to make a play really stands out. I felt the same in that playoff series last year against Philly. All too often it feels like we run out the clock and end up with a Pascal or Fred iso play in these tight games..

Yak should have been use more offensively but he also needs to be more aggressive on that side of the ball when he is on the floor. They did not guard Brogdon well. They fail to follow the KYP mantra.

Jack said it perfectly tonight: they just couldn’t hit the high notes. Pascal and Fred missed easy shots late in the 4th … shots your best players need to make. Jakob had a rare off night. And yeah … coulda used one Jeff Dowtin. Instead we get the usual Will Barton.
Raptors are a lot better when we have a pecking order instead of beating a team as a 5 man unit. It just makes Pascal defer less. Team basketball results in Scottie & OG getting a lot more shots who aren't polished enough yet. And makes Pascal our best offensive player become a role player. We look better when we have clear number 1 option…instead of a pick & roll team
Raptors found out that it's night and day between the Hornets and Celtics…even the Celtics B team. NN having one foot out of the door doesn't help either.
Look for Tatum, Smart, Horford and Pritchard to play against Toronto on Friday.
Though the Raptors shooting is inconsistent, the way they lose games is highly consistent. Take a quarter off, scoring droughts, missing wide open 3s and layups, losing games by the same amount of FTs missed. Then there are the fake comebacks…They play well attacking the rim and moving the ball–that which got them ahead or kept them in the game. Then, for some strange reason they start chucking 3s–which they totally suck at–but they keep on taking them anyway. (It's almost like they are trying to lose the game.) Teams sag off our "3pt shooters" by design–daring us to shoot even because its likely they will miss. When they get rid of FVV in the offseason, they need to get some true 3pt. specialists. Boston had an off shooting night because some of their best players were out, but they play good enough defense (goading us to shoot 3s) and fouling Poeltl that allows them to win games. We lack that! The better team won… Hats off to the Celtics. Raps need to get their head out of their ass and start making some shots. Go Raps!

this isnt a difficult game to analyze, when you shoot 18% from 3 against a good 3pt shooting team you dont win games 😂
