Any thoughts on Gabe York's season debut?
Are we supposed to pretend a 29 years old guard, fresh off the G-league, has a future with this team? Im not saying he doesnt, but the chances are not very high, given everything else in the equation.
Lock Tj McConnell up for the duration of his NBA career then make him A Coach.
Tj McConnell and Jalen Brunson have more heart then any players in the entire NBA.
Im way cool with York being on the roster next year. He has TJ vibes/energy. Hes A winning basketball player. Id much rather have him on the roster then soon to be 26 year old Duarte.
Trust me this game could have been won if Carlisle really wanted the W. He didnt care one way or the other. They are playing for lottery position.
Mathurin will be unstoppable in 2 years. He'll put on 12-15 lbs of muscle in off season and hell be noticeably even better guaranteed even.

Little off topic but there is A great documentary about the infamous brawl with Detroit on Netflix that is extremely good.
There was A time when Ron Artest was my favorite player. I honestly don't think there will ever be A former Pacer player I literally hate more then Ron Artest.
Just listening to Him speak in this documentary is cringe and evokes disgust and anger.
That incident basically ruined Jermaine O'Neal's trajectory of becoming an all NBA caliber player.

Another game Carlisle could’ve of naturally played Smith & Jackson together to avoid getting bitch-slapped on the boards once again 52-37, but nah that’d make too much sense!
