  1. Just wanted to share something positive amid all the doom and gloom lol. Hopefully Poeltl can be the backbone of an elite Raptors defense for years to come

Edit: While we’re on the topic, anyone know why there isn’t a Poeltl flair yet? I’ve been waiting for ages lol

And yet we still struggle in the 4th and have a terrible bench

  3. myrapties

Pat Bev single handedly turned the Bulls into a top 5 defense 🤣

  4. such a shame, we just needed to shot average from three and the season would be so different

  5. we are also bottom 3 in opponent eFG% (randoms going off on us all the time) while also being bottom 3 in eFG% (Toronto “it’s brick out” Raptors)

We shoot 33.8% from 3 on 32 attempts per game, so around 32.6 ppg on 3s

If we shot league average at 36.1% we’d get 34.7 ppg on 3s, a +2.1 increase

Given how many close games we’ve lose this could definitely make a difference, though it isn’t enough to make us a top team again.

It’s a shot making league. The rules now make offense more important than defense

  8. And they still lost to a Celtics team that wasn’t at full strength

Don’t look now, but Raptors are 9th in the East (they were 10th pre-deadline).
