Matt George reacts to the terrible officiating at the end of the Sacramento Kings vs Dallas Mavericks game. Plus, trash talking De’Aaron Fox is great & the Kings are essentially out of the 2nd seed race.

Sound like a bunch of sore losers. You guys have another thing coming if you guys are complaining now about flopping lol. Fox better start knocking down 3s
Folks do you think Sacramento will get calls vs Golden state or LAL ? I think not 😮but tonight a lot of calls went Dallas way Lucka was able to flop and yell and nothing 😮Plus travel call in crunch time was BS
The Kings and their fans ain't ready for the playoffs 😂😂😂 it's a flopping show.
This why I don’t wanna play Lakers or GSW in the playoffs, you know it’ll be a biased af game.
Man oh man preach. 🤦♂️
Hi Matt
The first thing masses of rival team fans do whenever anyone brings up the bad officiating is laugh and say "It did not lose you the game" and that is just Not. The. Point. It makes the game unenjoyable to watch. I don't care which team it would favor to have the referees do their job well. If it meant the Kings lost more (which it just wouldn't, we all know it, the damn REFEREES know it, Kings get the short end of the stick almost every single time), fine. I still want it to happen. Because the only way a competitive sport is truly nice to watch is when it is fair and kept in control by the rules being upkept.
And while yes, most of the time the mistakes/favoritism don't directly affect the final result of the game… we don't actually know HOW big of an effect each of them has. The tech might officially have only resulted in one free throw, but what is the Kings' players played worse following it because of the frustration? How many points did THAT affect? What if Mike Brown spent precious seconds thinking about it when they could have been used for thinking about how to adjust his teams' performance? It can ripple through much further than we realize, and we'll never ACTUALLY know.
And spare me the "they should be professional enough to deal with these situations without letting themselves be affected"… NO. You can't expect players to stop being human beings. Those situations just shouldn't happen (in this volume) in the first place! We don't want perfection, just competence and fairness.
And on Luka and the like, I think that they're honestly ruining the NBA product. There should be no adjustment of tolerance for each player, no matter how much of a star they are. Is there ANYONE who actually enjoys witnessing the favoritism and the endless arguing and griping? It just encourages them to continue. Hit them with five techs for it in a row and at some point they should finally learn not to whine excessively and act as a NORMAL player. And if they don't – fine. Let them foul out out of every game they play (that they are not suspended from). At least that would be fair. And honestly, the over-dramatics might actually turn to being enjoyable in THAT case.
Queta finish 2nd on MVP voting on G-league,
Is team success hurting his changes on NBA, or simply his game dont fit the team?
Should he go to other team to have his chances ?
Anyone not named Luka would have been tossed this game. He was jawing at the refs so much.
And he almost upended Fox at full speed at half court, and the refs didn't whistle him up. He was trying to foul fox, did foul him and no call. Instead Fox got to the paint, got hit by another Dallas player and then the refs whistled.
Wtf?
Refs can't even get it right after a review. It changes momentum by stopping the game. Clearly the refs were trying to get their next golden boy (Luka) into the playoffs. I'm sure the mission was to do everything in their power to help Mavs. Sure seems like it.
Makes me feel like the officials either have some money on the games orrrr the nba wants the mavericks to win and keep the momentum going to promote “they still have a chance keep watching”
Yes that is my fear of playing the warriors or the lakers are the refs and the fact that it is an entertainment business.
The nba is aware and behind it
I have a feeling all of our games in the playoffs will be 5 vs 8 🥺
We probably don't even need to win anymore games. Just stay in the 6 seed and lose to warriors so we can play clippers in first round 😊
You know, if Huerter argues with the referee, referee was wrong. Huerter normally is calm.
Every sacramento kings fan in the world has PTSD from the Series That Shall Not Be Named. 😡😡😡
Refs hate the Kings
As a Kings fan I am so glad we did not draft Luka. how do u change the culture of a organization when the star player acts like this and demands the ball in his hands xD.
Moral of the story they only do this, just because they want playoff series to go to seven games for more money and ratings
Officiating robots
Vlade got so much hate tho so…
Matt I agree 1000%
100% mavericks fan that bold ref 🤬
