  1. Gary Trent Jr has been a popular name linked to the Magic but I don’t view him as a significant upgrade over Gary Harris Jr and would demand a near max contract to keep

Bones Hyland is also another option but his terrible on/off stats and the fact that he refuses to play within a winning system should scare WeltHam away.

Who else should be on the radar of the Magic?

  2. Grayson Allen is a name Orlando could be interested in. Trade Terrance Ross for Grayson Allen. We like them Duke players in Orlando

  3. What about OG? We lock him in a 3 year deal for Chicago 1st round pick, Ross, Bamba, Rj, and 2 2nd round picks.

  4. The more I watch this current Magic team, the more I think that they should just trade for picks or pieces that could help them parlay it all into a high draft pick next year. Otherwise i like what they are doing with the current roster over any changes.

  5. Im bullish and naive. I just want THIS team to get better and stay together so badly. The stuff we see, like the whole team at Jalen's high school for example, just makes me root harder for these guys to succeed. I want Cole working on his D non-stop. I want Jalen putting up 1,000 3's a night to hone his shot….everyone doing whatever it is that they need to make the team better so it doesn't have to be broken up too dramatically. But, wishful thinking…i know.

  6. There is less than zero need for the Magic to make a move.

This team is very talented but extremely young. With no chance of being real contenders for 2 to 4 seasons.

The 2025 free agent class could be insane. That's the soonest the Magic should try to make an aggressive move.

  7. JOSH GIDDEY!! That’s the answer so much of what you say he would help with. I natural floor general, he would help on the glass, he’s young and 6’8” inch point guard. He’s going to make the offense so much more efficient.

  8. Magic probably should not make any trades as they have an excellent young core and some early picks in the draft this year. Just let them develop.
Williams from OKC is a good player if he could be added cheaply. If Magic trade Mo Bamba then Hartenstein might be worth pursuing as a backup center. He is a good rebounder.
Mo is a strange player because he seems to have a lot of talent — even shoots the 3 well — but the most energy I've ever seen him put out on the court was in fighting Austin Rivers. 🤣
He doesn't seem to have much motivation.
Good luck to the Magic — I think they're going to be very good in the near future.

  9. ngl, 3 germans would be nice in Orlando. the Knicks just don't use Hartenstein in his full possibilites.
