No matter what happens with Siakam I’ll always have my upmost respect for how Siakam carries himself and how he’s improve his game with everybody doubting him
– Sent to the G league? Bounces back his second year as a key member of the bench mob
– Revamps his shot from second to third year, goes from a non shooter to a corner specialist and eventually, a shooter from everywhere (2019-20 Siakam was peak 3pt shooting Siakam)
– Most improved player in 2019, if he doesn’t improve his game like that we don’t win the championship. Period.
– Whatever struggles he dealt with in the bubble, he bounced back to renounce his status as an all-NBA player
I know everybody is doubting Siakam for not being a true #1 and his fit with Scottie, but if there’s anyone who can prove us wrong it’s him
Pascal’s journey and progression has simply been incredible. It’s not his fault that our pieces don’t fit.
He’s come from being a pure rim runner hustle big and worst 3 point shooter in NBA history to NBA champion second option and multiple time all-nba first option point forward (drawing similar defensive attention as the best players in the league). His mid range game still falls off as the game goes deeper, but I wouldn’t put it past him to become a league average 3 pt shooter by next season and even more adept from mid range.
I don’t know what will happen in the offseason but I’ll cheer for Pascal wherever he is.
If Pascal had that clutch gene he would be a bona fide superstar.

Earning #1 option, and inheriting it since there is no other option, are 2 different things.
Put him on damn near any other team in the league, and he’s a number 2.
