No clue why the starters played when they were playing with 25% effort for the game

  2. Couldn’t close the perimeter fast enough, couldn’t defend the fast break. Doc can’t make half time adjustments.

  3. lordlightskin67

Doesn’t feel like it would be fun being a doomer fan I’m ngl

  4. GirlWithGame

What a boring game, exactly what we should want. When Embiid hit his hip hard it gave me a Dang heart attack I wanted him to come out then lol. Glad he got his cardio in I don’t want to see him or Harden again till next Saturday. Maybe the g league finals will be over after tonight and we can see the Mac and Springer show on Sunday.

  5. Thegrandmistressofoz

For the “this game doesn’t matter, this was a fluke” fans, yeah it doesn’t regular season wise because we’re locked in

But we still played most of our rotation today. We had the SAME issues we always have against Miami today. We never out rebound them, we can never score on their physical zone defense, our role players are consistently putrid shooting vs them

These aren’t one off issues we just saw today because we didn’t try, we consistently see this everytime we play the Heat (literally last playoffs lol…). We won’t play Miami in the playoffs most likely, but it just fucking sucks after like 12 games vs them we always have the same issues and lose the same way

  6. darylraspberry

Wow this thread looks way different than I imagined. Doomers eating tonight

  7. WraithTwelve

Dunk contest champion is wiping glitter/confetti off the floor, what were these idiots thinking. Vipers are a fraudulent organization.

  8. Every time I tuned into this one, it seemed like we were getting fucked by the whistle. Anyone who sat through the whole thing enlighten me on what we did most poorly?

  9. Science4me12

You can complain Joel and Harden playing this meaningless game. But being a doomer after this game is stupid. We treated this game like an exhibition game, while Heat was fighting for their life.

  10. lordlightskin67

I didn’t realize Charlie Brown Jr was still on the g league team

  11. ItsLeJiMan

I was under the impression that nat tv games usually start like 10-15 minutes late. I turned it on and 5 minutes of game time had already gone by. Is it only an ESPN thing? Even non national tv games usually start a little late.

  12. Oscar_Neira15

Tbh, dont care bout this game, but if Harden plays like shit in the playoffs, buddy enjoy ur life back in Houston

  13. pagonator

Well the only game I’m going to focus on for the rest of the regular season is Brooklyn’s game against Orlando.

They win that one and it’s confirmed that they’d be the 6th seed.

  14. Ismael_11vs11

Not giving Jimmy Butler a max contract is really the equivalent of not putting a ring on an ex who went to an Ivy League school and who is supermodel as a side gig

  15. bballin773

You guys have some unreasonable expectations. They’ve had the hardest schedule in the league for the past 2 months. They won 8 in a row and then Harden got hurt. Their schedule is packed and condensed and right now they have literally nothing to pay for. Why would they try hard now?

  16. November_Coming_Fire

I don’t understand why it seems like Joel is the only one focused for like the past month. I know Harden has been hurt but everyone seems to play at 3/4 speed. It’s hard to be positive with this team. Almost every win was a battle

  17. icewill36

i know this game meant nothing, but it was still frustrating to watch… against the heat especially. i hate when they play like they’re in mud boots vs the heat. why does this team act like their zone is so damn tough ? if they didnt want to play with any energy then why even play ? also i think joel respects jimmy TOO MUCH. he’s not aggressive defending against him, he helps him up if he falls down… like come on bro, i get that hes your friend but in between the lines, fuck that guy. he doesn’t wear a sixer uniform then he’s the enemy. I almost hope miami ends up in the 6 spot to force this team to have attack the zone harder and force joel to stop being so buddy-buddy with jimmy.

  18. Yourfurryfriend2

I didn’t see the game, what happened in the fourth quarter? 8-2???

Edit: nevermind there’s a glitch on the score data at the top of this thread

  19. StaringAtMyHugeBulge

I knew this was a guaranteed throw. This team has vets that don’t play hard unless the games mean something.

Maxey is the only young gun who gives energy to keep us in these meaningless regular season games and he was out tonight.

  20. TheArsenal7

I witnessed Tobias airball a layup and turned the game off

  21. TheMayne

Really excited about this heat vs celtics 1st round matchup. If the Heat start hitting 3s, like they did tonight, it could be very competitive.

  22. LetPristine6639

I really wish I hadn’t spent my hard-earned money a few months ago to come watch this team completely phone it in tonight

  23. Yellowperil123

If they didn’t care then why play Harden and Embiid?!

  24. corporatehuman

No injuries is a W boys. Onto the playoffs!!

  25. StaringAtMyHugeBulge

Pack it up, bubble wrap Embiid and put Harden in the recovery pod. The regular season is done for them. Let the G-league champs close the show.

  26. DieselLegal

Tobfraud blowing a fastbreak layup jesus christ even D1 player play better than this J Cole looking basketball terrorist

  27. Science4me12

I hope Springer, McClung and Louis King are on the flight to Atlanta now.
