Strange and Suspicious: A Knives Out Story

Media is really starting to come at the front office lol

  2. EarthWarping

So Grange says it would’ve been Barton who would’ve been cut if they did keep Dowtin.

  3. klobucharzard

has eric flynn weighed in on this at all?

Is this sub convinced Dowtin is suddenly the second coming of Norm Powell or something?

He’s a passable third string point guard, on a team that only has one point guard.

He would not see the floor on almost every team in the league except for maybe the 3-5 truly tanking franchises. Even then I doubt he’d be blowing us away. What are we even talking about here?

  5. Poor management for 3+ years isnt strange or suspicious. This is par for the course.

[Grange] “When the tombstone is placed on this season next week or the week after that, it will read:

*”Here lie the 2022-23 Raptors. They couldn’t hit water from a boat.” 😂*

Is there anything strange and suspicious about anything to do with not paying a guy whose career high is 10 points, and averages 2.5 per game.

Downtime had been way too safe. No impact made, no shits given.

There’s clearly an issue with the FO and Nurse.

This was one of the pickups Nurse, someone that isn’t fond of the bench, actually used.

Then we hear he had a special meeting with Webster by request regarding Downtin but nothing came out of it.

It’s a big fuck you to Nurse. The relationship has gone south.

i find it hilarious that not extending a 2ppg G-league player, is where this sub and fanbase finally criticizes the FO lol.

Stupid question but would there have been a tax related “saving” by not doing this?

This sub is funny. Shows how many of you guys don’t know ball. Acting like Downtin was averaging 15 and 5 off the bench. We can get a much better back up PG in the off season. Either through FA or the draft

Ok. So Malachi with 21:6:9 and a Raptors win next week confirmed. Barton with 12 on 4/4 from deep.

Dowtin is not important tbh. He’s just some fringe bench player who we need because we are in a jam. Chances are we don’t make it out of the play-in with or without him. They got their centre, now they need to evaluate like they said they will. From my view, Jak is important, but it wasn’t the answer.

  14. Can’t believe we’re arguing about the 12 guy with a week left in the season before we lose in the playin.

The real problem is Barnes and Siakam can’t co exist

  15. InstanceMoney

Dowtin hasn’t had a turnover in his last 7 games games played 😓

  16. DylanLars

Quick everyone guess Dowtins age then check for yourself. Not a ton of upside, but even I’m perplexed by the decision. Especially if Nurse wants him around.

  17. smoove11223

Time to look at Nurse, Masai, and Bobby. They’ve hid behind their past success. People need to wake up and hold them accountable.

  18. Why are they making this such a big deal lol he’s still and RFA and if we don’t resign him then I’d be more suspicious
