I doubt they play him in the playoffs where it is harder to let u shake off the rust and get acclimated

I'm riding win or lose but man sure be nice to be full speed but I do know that injuries are bad in any light. I understand the wait with Zion, he is a one in a million type player and you can't have him injured for life cause of a rush rehab.
There are so many better ways to convey what you're saying they are trying to convey. I don't believe this is a first draft of this statement. It's vague, and it's vague on purpose.

What difference does it make? Once Zion gets back, he's just going to get injured again. Probably play a good 4 to 5 games, and then get hurt. The Pelicans need to just ride with Brandon Ingram the 2016 NUMBER 2 PICK, and start forgetting about Greg Oden 2.0.

Hey Jake, Australian Pels fan here. Only been following the NBA for a few years and I love your show. You’ve helped me learn and understand a lot about basketball and the Pelicans. However, I don’t like your take on the secrecy around injuries. I follow AFL in Australia and injury updates are frequent, detailed and usually extremely accurate. There is total transparency which I think shows respect to the fans. These leagues are nothing without their fans and I believe they are owed that kind of respect. I’m just not sure how the culture of secrecy around injuries really helps anyone. Don’t get me started on the refs! Star fouls, rookie fouls, favouritism (Lakers situation!) don’t exist here. Hard for an Aussie girl to adjust to this stuff in the NBA, but still love the game. Thanks for the show Jake!
