Mark Cuban SOUNDS OFF On Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic & Jalen Brunson | Mavericks News & Rumors



Before Mavericks vs. Kings, Mavs owner Mark Cuban sounded off on a variety of topics surrounding the Mavs.
– Cuban talked about Kyrie Irving and what the Mavericks have to do to keep him in 2023 NBA Free agency. Despite the Mavs getting Irving at the 2023 NBA trade deadline, Kyrie will test free agency.
– Luka Doncic was also a topic of discussion in the pre-game Mark Cuban press conference, where he said the Mavericks have to earn Doncic’s trust in order to keep him for his entire career
– The juciest Mavericks rumors out of Cuban’s media session surrounded Jalen Brunson, who left the Mavericks for the New York Knicks in 2022 NBA free agency. Cuban reiterated that the Mavericks never had a chance to offer or match what the Knicks gave Brunson, and that the 4-year, $56 MM contract extension Brunson was eligible for was never on the table from Brunson.

    i think pretty much every person on the planet knows there was quite a few backroom deals going on with the knicks/brunson. I dont particularly know how he could respond other than outright saying he just wanted to leave either way.

    How long are y’all gonna keep bringing up Jalen????? He’s gone. He’s been gone since last year and his name is still be thrown around in the organization. Move on… like he has. How long are you gonna live in the past. No matter how much you cry he’s not coming back. Deal with what’s in front of you now.

    Don't resign powell plus trade kleber and Bullock for a rim protecter rebounding center healthy star player plus give wood a 2 year contract he did prove to be consistent 80% of the time coming off the bench!!!!

    Luka has to do his part to help also. If he comes in out of shape and playing hard on defense next season, I would consider trading him.
