  1. The dumb thing about this trade is that everyone knew it was a bad trade even casual fans I do not understand why Minnesota did this trade It makes no sense smh

  2. Seeing Walker Kessler essentially turning into Rudy Gobert 2.0 in Utah of all places really has to hurt seeing too… my god

  3. I’ve got to think that the changing ownership of the Wolves is a factor here, with people assuming the new owners are going to get rid of them not really caring if they burn the team’s future.

  4. The Mitchell-Gobert Jazz is the new “what if” of the nba since the Durant-Westbrook-Harden. Man they could have had it all if they stayed together.

  5. The T-Wolves have to trade KAT this summer. Hopefully they can recoup some of their draft capital.

  6. I wonder what would have happened if the Bulls had traded for Gobert? Maybe that would have not worked out well seeing as how this trade isn't working out well for Minnesota

  7. Every time the 90's Bulls are mentioned in Jamaal's vids, I can hear the disappointment in his voice remembering where the Bulls franchise used to be lol

  8. I think the best move is to trade KAT, a core of ANT, mcdaniels and rudy showed they can compete in the west without kat recoup some picks and add impactful role players and bet on the growth of ant and mcdaniels is the best scenario imo

  9. I’m convinced this YouTuber doesn’t watch or understand basketball. Dirk Nowitzki on draft night wasn’t a bad trade as they didn’t know what he would turn out to be and actually dirk struggled his first few seasons. You didn’t explain why the Rudy trade was a bad trade as on the court prospective because the trade made absolute sense on paper given what he did in Utah as a defensive player of the year. It was a bad trade simply because he dosnt fit into the system and absolutely clogs the lane when him at KAT are in together making it harder for edwards to get buckets on the inside, given that hes a good shooter he still thrives on the inside mid range. Lol are you gonna say I didn’t watch the video again to make excuses because you have no argument?

  10. I'm a fan of the Wolves and I thought the team was doing great, Beverley gave a lot of energy, Beasley can shoot nice and Vanderbelt is an insane defender and glue guy. Too much for one good player, I would never do this trade and I like Gobert…

  11. Wolves ownership isn't concerned with winning…they just want marquee names to put asses in seats and make as much as possible during the regular season.

  12. T'Wolves idea with twin towers was doomed before season started. That would've worked 30 years ago. At the end of the day they overpaid for this trade and Gobert & KAT production was dropped because they can't fit in the starting lineup.

  13. towns only attempting THREE SHOTS on a home loss versus portland last april 3, considering how close the west is, told me everything i needed to know about towns lmao

  14. Danny Aingle activated the Platinum thief badge once again. Minny have now replaced Sac as the dumbest nba franchise around.

  15. Bad trade? Yes. Horrible trade? Yes. Worst trade of ALL TIME? No not even close

  16. It seems like the Wolves have been able to get it going well and they've adapted to Rudy Gobert. It's not perfect but they're doing well at least later in the season. But I think everyone can agree that the haul for Rudy Gobert was just insane. He's a good player, but it was just so much picks sent to Utah for just a star. But, I think it's really just due to being a Danny Ainge trade, he never does any deals unless he is the CLEAR winner by a longshot 🤣

  17. being a wolves fan my copium is basically knowing that wolves suck at draft so those draft pick gonna be useless anyway
so when utah choose a great player with our pick my mind gonna think "wolves would never chose that player"

  18. I just found it to be a weird trade; a Minnesota starting line up with two big men, KAT is 7’0 while Gobert is 7’1, but at the same time I found the trade to be reasonable to a certain extent. But Gobert lost a bit of his defensive ability but is still pretty good in the paint offensively.

  19. 2:50 Rudy is one of the most mid players ever. At the most, he should’ve went for 1 first. No team is a “Rudy gobert” away from a championship, he’s never been a top player but analytics treated him like one. Also, anyone could be a gm if that entire front office thought OH YEH RUDY IN A TWOLVES JERSEY PUSHES US OVER THE EDGE, stop. think about this…the twolves got so excited about going to 7 with Mem(should’ve beaten them if coach wasn’t inept) that they believed that if they had a “Rudy gobert” that series to stop ja, they would be a contender. That is disgusting.

  20. You said that a trade will not go down unless a team believes there will be some benefit. I don't believe this is necessarily true in cases where the player DEMANDS a trade, and an NBA franchise simply complies with their demand.

Not every team GM has the balls of Daryl Morey. I give him and the Philadelphia 76ers all the credit for NOT caving in to Ben Simmons' trade demand, and fining Ben millions of dollars for every game Simmons missed.

As time has demonstrated, Morey's firm resolve paid off, as Daryl eventually scored the point guard he had been trying to obtain since he left Houston: James Harden.

Harden has helped make the Sixers one of toughest teams in the league. In contrast, the Brooklyn Nets roster crumbled, getting bounced in the first round, and eventually causing both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to ask for and be granted a trade.

In the case of Kyrie, Brooklyn's GM didn't even trade Irving to the team that theoretically offered the most assets in return (L.A. Lakers). Instead, he sent Uncle Drew to the Dallas Mavericks because Nets owner Joe Tsai didn't want Kyrie to have the satisfaction of being traded to his preferred destination.

Sean Marks is very fortunate that the K.D. trade made up for this, as Mikal Bridges has turned out to be the future superstar no one even knew he could be. 🏀

  21. It's almost like Rudy was never as good as people thought. Mitchel and Rudy duo was never gonna work
