  1. Coach Fred, you are a great man and hope u dont go anywhere sir.. i gotta shooting tip that might help some of your guys. during my playing days in high school/college, i used to tape up my middle and ring finger during practice to sharpen up my shooting accuracy. i picked this up from watching Michael Jordan when he played with those fingers taped up for a few games because of injuries to his fingers. when i saw that, i had to see for myself if those taped fingers would affect my shooting but what i found out, although awkward at first, was that it actually got me to shoot straighter with my point finger directing the ball to where i wanted. the middle and ring figers were then isolated out because sometimes while shooting, those fingers could push off slightly off causing ur ball to either float a lil left or right. if u dont believe me u can try it out and see if it work. if it doesnt then no harm done. for me, it made my shooting form and the follow thru look much better. if i can somehow get into our shooters ears to tell them to give it a try, i would bc i have a feeling it could help them control the ball going straighter.
