Probably the biggest game of the season for the Knicks, mavs and bulls are tied for 10th and play each other tonight, a win for either side puts them at 11. Must watch basketball

If the mavs slide to 10th we don’t acquire their pick. If they go to 11+ we get their pick.
Major decisions can be made with a 11+ pick, a lottery pick for a star would be great in the off season, or acquiring more picks down the line, or get lucky and find an amazing player in the draft.
Absolutely must watch mavs v bulls

Doesn’t it come down to the luck of the lottery?

Sooo uhhh for the dummies like me, tell me who to root for

The 80 games the Knicks actually played up until now were all bigger games for the Knicks season than this

The only spot open on the roster is rjs? And that’s if you don’t want to give the 23 year old another year on that huge contract. Would be nice to have the pick but I think some people are overstating it’s importance.

The bill murray part from space jam where he says “let’s go bulls” except he says let’s go mavs

I know you’re just trying to share info but calling this the most important game is so stupid lmfao

The biggest game for the Knicks was the game that clinched the playoffs.

But wait there are 14 teams in the lottery this year, meaning that even if the Mavs end up at 11 or 12 they could still end up with a top 10 pick right? Wouldn’t we lose that pick then?

So can someone please explain this to me.. As Knicks fans, what exactly are we rooting for to happen with Dallas?

Pretty sure the Bulls are resting their starters since they’re locked into 10th, should be an easy dub for Dallas.

The pick is top ten protected, not lottery protected. Dallas could easily have10th position and slip down to 11 in the lottery or visa-versa. Dallas finishing w the 10th worst recird gives a slight probability advantage.

So who do you root for in this? The mavs?

This game determines it all, esp given the Bulls and Mavs play Detroit and San Antonio, respectively, for their final games, which should mean Ws for both them and thus they won’t have the same record, which would go to a coin toss for 10 and 11. Crazy to think Knick fans care way more about this game than their own game tonight.

I don’t think some of us understand the pick doesn’t convey til after the lottery is complete. Mavs can finish outside the top 10 but by have some luck in the odds and still crack the top 10. I don’t know why some here think the Knicks will get this pick.
