    Say what y'all want but Luka was blatantly looking off Kyrie this game. The team is trying to make the play in and he over there giggling with Embiid before the game is even over. Luka is the best player on the team so he needs to understand that his bad body language translates to negativity which we don't need. Now players like Maxi and J Green has lost their confidence because they simply play better when Kai has the ball. I want Luka to be the primary scorer but let Kyrie be the playmaker. Also J Kidd needs to give up his vendetta against C Wood and JAVALE, we need size out their at all times. Bench Reggie when he is being a brick machine and give young gun Hardy the minutes he deserves.

    NBA Owners and GM's BEWARE: offer kyrie the veterans minimum with incentives based on how many games he plays in. If you give him a max contract he will start acting up, missing games for personal reasons and various injuries and stop playing in 50 percent of your games once the ink is dry on that max contract, bringing anarchy, chaos, drama and distractions to your organization, just ask the team owners and fans of the Cavs, Celtics and Nets. The Mavs are 6 wins and 14 losses when kyrie plays with Luka – the trade is a massive bust, the Mavs would be a playoff team now if they had not traded for kyrie irving and kept the players they had and just added a rebounder and rim protector instead.

    I’ve been down on this team after the 4 losses but for some reason I feel like I have to believe going forward that we will make the play-in but if not it’ll be ok. I feel like this team needs the off-season Luka does NOT need to play euro basket he needs to focus on his body.

    He’s definitely critiquing the coaching & substitutions in this interview. He’s indirectly stating that some guys should be on court that’s not at a certain time based on the flow of the game but coach doesn’t want to hurt egos instead of doing what’s needed to give the best chance for a win

    I was at the game and honestly the mavs were playing better when Luka wasn’t playing.. you can clearly tell Luka isn’t the same as of now

    I think that 'mental edge' might improve if Luka didn't yap at refs so much and Kyrie stopped battling fans.

    Kyrie needs to stay right there, take a nice 1+1 deal for a boatload of money, and form a dynamic duo with Luka.
    Give the gm time to build around them.
    They're both young enough to build around over the next 3-5 yrs but i would not do a 4 yr max deal with Kyrie.
    If someone offers that or wants to offer that in a sign and trade scenario, then ok but for The Mavs i think that could be a mistake…
    That's a lot of leverage for a personality like Kyrie's….😊
    I'm not knocking him, just going off the past.
    Dude be wanting time off for reasons other than injury….
    Imagine giving him 4 yrs fully guaranteed?

    The real problem, imo, is that the Mavs didn't build a good defensive team in the offseason or implement bigger lineups in the season. This would have made the transition to Kai smoother. They're just too small and give up way too many buckets.

    I think the main thing that could keep Kyrie here is the fact that living in Dallas has to be one of the best places to live in America, as far as diversity, food choices, quality real estate, land to be bought, etc.

    This season w/the acquisition of Kai was going to be an experiment regardless of where the Mav’s finished.

    Hopefully, Kai wants to come back, get a full offseason w/Luka, and we can get some real talent to go along w/them (a Defensive Big and more depth all around —-> not C Wood or D Powell and etc)
