The real winner is Kyrie for the Hat Trick. Managed to convince 3 teams (and counting) that his pretty dribbles contributes to winning. Dude has had championship contending rosters, top 10 team mates yet he still manages to snatch defeat from the Jaws of victory. If you put Kyrie with the 97' Bulls with guest Center Shaquille O'Neal, he'd still manage to have them fighting for the 8th spot.

Unfortunately bringing in a highly skilled ball dominant guard exposed Luka's weaknesses. He can't play off the ball and is a lousy defender. I won't go so far it was an utter failure because they were not contenders before the trade, so it was a risk that needed to be taken.

All these years Cuban did nothing. The Kyrie trade was pure desperation to keep Luka happy and it backfired.
Remind your boy Luka to stop whining and just fic his sights on playing. That ruins his thythm in the game. He spends half of his time complaining.
In a good system you can easily develop Luka as an awesome defender. His frame is perfect to be a good defender just maybe if he lost a bit of weight. Even Booker and Curry are good defenders, not great but solid enough.
The expectations killed them this year. After getting punched big time this year it can help them to learn their lesson. A lot of the loses came from a terrible attitude and not showing up ready to fight.
