  1. The Media are trying their best to push this narrative for Embiid to win MVP by saying “He hasn’t won it before”

  2. Joel Embid, regardless of if he wins MVP, is not the best player on the planet. The standard is MJ because of his championships and he PER rating, don’t lower the bar.

  3. The MVP objectively is Giannis Antetokounmpo, this is not a pity contest! Not everyone can be great otherwise the word ''great'' would have no meaning. We can't just give the MVP to Embiid based on the narrative that he's got second place twice already. He's had an amazing season would love to have him on my team but Giannis earned this MVP!

  4. Embiid ducked Jokic and Giannis in the same week but the media won’t bring that up and are still trying and pushing this narrative for Embiid

  5. This all started because Kendrick Perkins running his mouth by “Embiid having never won an MVP” and the “Voters only voting for Jokic because he’s white”

  6. Media: “The MVP is Jokic is lose”
Kendrick Perkins: “Complains about Embiid not getting the MVP award”
Media: “Yea Embiid needs to win this MVP because he’s never won it before”

  7. I blame Perk for this because he got people feeling sorry for Embiid because he hasn’t won MVP before yet he’s ducking Jokic and Giannis in the same week

  8. Steph in the top 10 shakes the whole top 10 up. We are basically saying that impact and rings are what makes you top 10 instead of skill and drive.

  9. Meaningless game for the 76ers. Anything other than acknowledging the blew a meaningless game is making a mountain out of a molehill.

Also whoever gets picked Giannis, Jokic, and Embiid will have deserved it. It is so close and anyone who says there isn't a compelling case for all 3 is being dishonest.

  10. The heat not as bad as people make them out to be their core bam jimmy and Tyler are having a great year it all depends on the role players if they hitting shots will definitely be a tough series no matter who faces them

  11. Jokic is the only player who hasn't been criticized for not winning a ring despite being a 2x MVP when literally LeBron,MJ,Kobe and Giannis where snubbed of the MVP because they couldn't get a ring I remember when LeBron was called a choker for not winning a ring for Miami in 2011 and was massacred.and when Kobe was robbed of the MVP because the Lakers weren't in playoffs position
But now I ain't sniffing any criticism towards Jokic not winning a ring but still being voted for MVP

  12. The Steph disrespect is crazy like he ain’t just win another Chip last season 🤦🏾‍♂️

  13. Giannis is the best player on the best team. But go ahead, ignore him. Already gave him 2. Pass around the MVP like a blunt.

  14. MJ, Kobe, Kawhi, PG-13, T-Mac
This is why Jordan is still the GOAT. Prime MJ is way better than Kawhi. He's not as tall or as strong. But he was faster and smoother. More athletic. I bet if prime-MJ went at it vs. prime-LeBron with an equal supporting cast, MJ is beating LeBron 75-80%% of the time or the same number he beats LeBron in GOAT polls.

Some observation with Kawhi vs. Paul George along with MJ's and Kobe's games. Kawhi idolized Jordan and then Iverson. PG idolized Kobe although I see PG more like T-Mac. While Kawhi is like 2nd threepeat MJ with the same big hands but moves slower like Wizards MJ.

In my eyes, MJ's game is nicer to look at than Kobe's game. Mike had that GOAT swag. The walk. The tongue sticking out. Kobe had the deeper range. He can dribble amazingly with either hand. When Kobe gets hot from the outside, he's amazing to watch. Maybe more exciting to watch when he caught a super hot hand. His jumper is much more purer than MJ.

Go back from 1985-1990, MJ took years to develop a jumper. It has something to do with his big hands. It's harder to shoot. Rondo has the same problem. Dr. J was no shooter. Kobe was a more natural shooter than MJ due to his smaller hands the way Paul George shoots naturally better than Kawhi.

But MJ can glide. His hangtime made his game look so smooth. He played in an era when threes wasn't a thing. It was dunking to capture for posters and basketball cards. His shoes was marketed to make a guy think he can fly if he wore them. He was the more efficient scorer. He can palm the ball like a grapefruit and dunk with either hand which Kawhi also does.

I just find it ironic that I find Paul George's game nicer to look at than Kawhi's while I find MJ's game nicer to look at than Kobe's. Kawhi and PG idolized #23 and #24. Kobe's game was way more polished than 80s MJ but 90s MJ was smoother than Kobe's best years. The 90s MJ is the one Kobe copied from since he and Kawhi can't hang in the air like 80s MJ.

Kawhi's game is very janky. It's like using an Android smartphone during the Gingerbread era. He has the least smoothest game between him, MJ, Kobe, and PG. Less smoother than T-Mac and DWade. It's mainly because Kawhi isn't the most athletic player similar to a Paul Pierce. Kawhi really isn't someone I would pay top dollar to watch the way people did for MJ, Kobe, LeBron, Steph, or even a Blake Griffin.

But trust me, I would rather have Kawhi over Paul George. More efficient. Over 49% FG similar to MJ while PG is 43% similar to Kobe's 44%. Kawhi's PER is much higher. His W-L record is much better. What Kobe got from Jordan stealing his footwork and fadeaway, he taught it to Kawhi. When Kawhi posts up, turns, and fadeaway, it's vintage Jordan. I'm seeing Mike again. I'm back being ages 15 through 17 again.

It's a real shame Paul George is injured. When Kawhi and PG are together, that's the closest thing to watching a 6'7 Michael Jordan and a 6'8 Kobe Bryant playing together being fanboys to them. And to a lesser extent, MJ and Scottie. Although PG plays a lot more like T-Mac than Kobe or Scottie. PG isn't a playmaker like Scottie.

TBH, PG's best years were in Indiana. His career is actually very similar to Penny Hardaway's career. First 4 years were good. Got injured. Hasn't really been the same since. PG's career has been up and down the last 8 years.

I still don't understand why T-Mac is in the Hall of Fame? He had 4 good years in Orlando. So did Penny except Penny was getting further in the playoffs. T-Mac was skilled. Perhaps just as skilled as Kobe. He loves Kobe. They were close friends. Paul George idolizes Kobe.

What T-Mac and PG also share is a bad injury history and the lack of winning intangibles that MJ, Kobe, and Kawhi all have. PG's winning intangibles is closer to T-Mac, Vince, and Nique. Nil. Anyhoo, hurry back, PG. Clippers got no shot beating the Suns without you.

  15. Despite the loss I still got Embiid winning MVP. Even though they loss to the Heat in blowout fashion it doesn't affect their playoff standing one bit. It was already solidified the night prior when Embiid dropped 52. If anything this was a more important game for the Heat

  16. this is like judging MVP of a pre-season game. The sixers had nothing to play for they are locked into the 3 seed and they half assed it. Judging anything from this game is a casual fan take. Also Embiid's been better than Giannis on offense and defense this year lol.

  17. It's funny to see all these Jokic fans say, "Why is Giannis not the MVP?" now tgst it's clear as day tgst Jokic should have only one MVP award.
