I am actually with Cuban on this. Brunson was 100% gone to NY. His godfather is the GM, they hired his dad on the coaching staff, the players KNEW he was coming lol.

I gotta agree with Bontemps. Windhorst is saying they can turn it around but it’s easier said then done. They haven’t been a good free agency destination, they can only trade like two future firsts. If they get a bargain deal on draft night then I’ll change my tune but they right now aren’t in good shape.
Y’all crowned him way to early. He’s a good offensive player mostly inside but a mid level shooter, maybe even poor shooter. He is very slow, runs down the clock and holds the ball, doesn’t pass. I watch all his teammates not moving when he has the ball, doesn’t defend and shows no effort on the defensive side. I would trade him for Fox and some picks from Sac

Just trade Luca for the number one pick and draft wambeyama, let kyrie walk and save that money then hire a nice veteran with hight character and build from scratch like the warriors and Milwaukee did and in three years they are going to be in the play off
Is Bontemps the most pessimistic analyst on espn?
Memphis beating OKC is best for their playoff chances assuming they think Dallas is a bigger threat than New Orleans and Minnesota to the Nuggets, but still worse than the Nuggets. Giving Dallas the 10 seed makes the team they'd play in the conference finals weaker.

What drives me crazy about this situation is that Mark Cuban has had a European superstar before and was able to keep him for nearly twenty years. You'd think that Mark would know exactly what needs to be done to keep Doncic happy and want to stay.
