Dame Time’s Up: Why Portland Might REALLY Have To Trade Lillard Now

It might be time for Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers to go their separate ways. It’s not just about finding a better team for Dame, either. We’ve finally gotten to a point where splitting up is the best decision for Portland, too.

  1. At this point hes holding back the young ones now, he’s gonna have to step aside or be traded. Or be a 6th man, nothing wrong with that.

  2. I think Dame wants out but doesn't want to admit it to the city of Portland. He wants to be traded and not have to do it himself- remain a positive image and get his respect

  3. DON’T DRAFT WEMBANYAMA, WE DON’T WANT NO SAM BOWIE/BILL WALTON/GREG ODEN CURSE

  4. I don’t think so, th bet time to trade him was a couple seasons ago. At this point why not just let him ride out the rest of his career there. One team players are rare and are only going to become more rare in the future so why not?

  5. The NBA script gonna be crazy this offseason. Victor and Dame gonna win a ring together 😂

  6. it doesnt matter we all know dame isnt gonna get traded we been through this before he is never going to be traded for no reason at all

  7. Dame has a life in Portland beyond just basketball. He loves the city and the team, and they love him. His family calls it home. He doesn't want to leave because he values that more than a potential ring. That kind of mentality of being passionate about your work while still prioritizing your family should be applauded and not criticized.

  8. Celtics would be a nice fit for Dame. But Bpston should trade Jaylen Brown to NY so forget that.

  9. Until Dame says it, this is just the same blowing smoke up people's asses that has been going on for years now….

  10. Option 4 : send the knics pick to chicago to undo the protection and make a package with all those pick you have (portland have all their pick) to keep a good core and land a another all star. You get to keep Anfernee or Sharpe. If you can get another center, one who can rim protect effectively, in place of Nurkic, you're good to go.
