  1. I've heard this from a lot of talking heads last post season about the Warriors.
Dispassionately looking at a potential series I greatly favor the Warriors. You can't look at their regular season numbers and think that is what you will see in the playoffs.
I think it might actually be like a 4-1 bloodbath for the Kings.
It should be a lot of fun either way though. Assuming it happens.

  2. I remember Kings fans chartering buses to fill up the stands in Oakland when Kings games were sold-out every night.

  3. If it's Kings-Warriors in Round 1… no doubt Dubs fans will raid the secondary market to attend games at G1C. But we need to try to do the same for Kings games in SF at Chase. As soon as the matchup is set, Kings fans willing to drive to the City should flood Ticketmaster so we have some purple sections in those road games. Resale tix for those first round games at CC are currently a bit less crazily priced than G1C round 1 tix.

  4. While I'm actively betting some money on the Kings this series, I can't say I'm too confident in their odds of winning it. Wouldn't be surprised if they lost to GS in a gentleman's

  5. They will play the Warriors in the first round. Clippers won't lose to the Blazers today.

  6. We can beat anyone. The question is if we take the opportunity when it presents itself.

Our recent play hasn't always reflected that. Too much settling for transition 3 point attempts instead of attacking the paint. The reason why Fox can take over is because he keeps attacking the paint, and it's something we need our best ball handlers to keep doing.

Metu showed some nice shake and bake in the third, that was nice to see.

  7. Kings will beat the GSW in 5 games. Win both home games, then steal one on the road and close it out at home we don't want 7 games vs GSW. Fox needs to be aggressive and attack, attack, attack the paint and let the refs make the call. 2 out of Huerter, Monk and Keegan needs to 3-4 3s. And Barnes needs to score double digits. Also they have to keep Poole like he was tonight.

Kings need to get a good lead like at least 5 early then rotate Fox out about 7 minutes in and Huerter and put Mitchell and Kessler and have both guard Steph and Klay. Need to run the offense in this stretch through Sabonis and Keegan has to hit shots. Then about 3 and a half minutes left put Fox and Monk back in and let bot play fast and keep Sabonis about a minute and a half. Then put Metu in once Looney sits. Sabonis needs to also attack and get Looney on foul trouble. Klay will most likely guard Fox so Huerter or Monk has to hit shots being guarded by Steph and do a lot of running around too. Barnes will match up with Wiggins and Barnes needs to take away Wiggins out of the equation and space. Get him 1-2 open 3s early to make Wiggins stay on him and when it's just Wiggins without Green, Barnes need to be able to take Wiggins one on one.

News to tighten up defense a lot sooner than the usual 2nd half. I'd switch Huerter or Monk on Steph and switch Fox to Klay to conserve Fox energy.

  8. The fact that the Kings “rested” players is crazy. If this was a 2006-2022 Kings, we’d just play all our started and make sure we end with 30 wins lol.

  9. Loved loved loved this episode! It’s like my night is not complete on game night unless I get your take on things. Thank you loved hearing what you had to say tonight. ♥

  10. 1.) don’t put stock in what kings twitter has to say

    BUT

2.) Kings don’t stand a chance against the Warriors in a series. If the warriors were unimpressive and still won, why wouldn’t they trim it up in the playoffs like they always do? They just won last year
