The Miami Heat rested their starters and waved the white flag, giving up their chase for the No. 6 seed and accepting a spot in the play-in tournament. They’ll play the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday.

    First of all, I'd like to remind everyone that Wes said early on, this could be a 6 seed season. People got on his case for seemingly not supporting the Heat when he was simply recognizing the coming parity in the East and our lack of front court depth. I agreed with him at the time that it could be a possibility if things didn't fall our way.

    Keep up the great work, Wes. You've become my favorite Heat analyst.

    I'm of the belief that Boston is the better match-up. Our weakness is size, and Boston is smaller than Milwaukee and Philly.

    Boston has struggled at times during the last quarter of the season. Jaylen Brown has made recent comments that could impact their chemistry.

    I'd rather see Philly and Milwaukee later as both have a history with injuries, and both are older.

    Heat need to beat the hawks to avoid playing bucks first round. With jaylen browns cut and their recent struggles. Heat can make this a series

    Bro what are you on about? Talking about the team “being refreshed and having a chance to be healthy”. Them going into the play-in is making them have to play an extra 1-2 games instead of having a week off. Why does this video have a positive vibe as if we did something good in making the play-in. The team is dog piss and gonna get bounced in the playoffs in 4 or 5.

    Hopefully we lose the 2 play-in games and get some lucky ping pong balls so we can get a better draft pick. Drafting at 8 or 9 can get a legit prospect in this draft. This draft is deep af.

    Heat wasn't getting that 6 seed stop it we lost that 6 seed last week when we drop them three games nets wasn't going and let magic beat them

    We have a completely healthy roster the other teams wanna win so bad they don't rest their stars now its gonna bite them in the butt. Last night wasn't garbage mins it was a exhibition to put these teams on notice don't ever sleep on the heat

    Heat wasn’t going to get 6. Nets weren’t going to lose to tanking teams. If they beat Atlanta they still have 4 days to prepare for Boston plus the main guys still get extra rest not playing the last 2 regular season games.

    They’ll beat Atlanta and call me crazy but that 1st round series against Boston will be quite interesting…i think they can beat Boston
