Lakers(42-39) rooting guide 8th April 2023

Wasn’t pretty but a win is a win and we needed that. D’Lo , Reaves and Beasley all carried so I’m happy.

On the rooting guide the Warriors and Pelicans both won so we remain at 7th. We have a chance to move up to 6th but I requires the Warriors to lose to the Blazers tomorrow(unlikely) or the Clippers to lose two in a row vs the Blazers and the resting Suns(more unlikely). In fact it serves us better if the Clippers win out because in any tiebreaker scenario where the Clippers tie with us and the Pelicans we fall to the 8th seed.

**Rooting Guide**
1) **Clippers(-16.5)** over the Trail Blazers
2) **Timberwolves(-13.5)** over the Spurs

I know it sounds funny but to reduce the risk and avoid falling to the 8th seed we NEED the Clippers to win both their games. We also need the Timberwolves to win tonight so their game vs the Pelicans is important to them and they don’t rest their guys.

This is a handy picture that show why https://twitter.com/lakersforever5/status/1644717278653554691?s=46&t=cKa6VrLwU2bDbL5f7sE7KQ

GO LAKERS!!!

I mean if the Clippers lose today, however unlikely, they have a B2B with Phoenix tomorrow. Kawhi is unlikely to play both games and Monty Williams hasn’t ruled out playing his starters tomorrow.

Who does this sub want as our play-in opponent?

If we do maintain the 7th seed then give us the fucking Clippers PLEASE. After Bron’s second half and being disrespected by Russ I know our guys will be ready and would love to bury those dudes.

Need the clippers to lose tn to scare the warriors and make them question if they wanna win tmwr since they the 5th seed rn

If we win tmrw the most likely options are us as the 7 seed playing the pelicans if they win, or us as a 7 seed playing the wolves if they win. This is if warriors and clippers win out which should happen
