Well that was kind of expected but sucky

Woj also notes that Lofton Jr. got signed and Jacob Gilyard got signed with the two-way

well thats depressing. playing any team with size will give us huge problems and those teams are the grizzlies potential first round matchup (Timberwolves and Lakers)

  3. idontmindglee

Optimism for a deep playoff run takes a big hit with that news.

  4. Swervoo4x

Well he’ll be back towards the wcf/finals right…?

This comes as no surprise. They told us bane would be out for 1-2 weeks and it turned into what felt like months. They told us the same with Adams and now look at what they’re saying.

It’s some pain inside my city yeaaaaa

  7. pepepresident

Man this is depressing af really was hoping he was gonna be fit for the playoffs especially with him hoopin a little before the Bucks game…

  8. Tyler6147

can they just be fucking honest about injuries man he was supposed to be back in march

We have to consolidate some future assets and address the center position in the off-season. We can’t be this reliant on Adams.

  10. This is a very not cash money development

Realistically, I think this pretty well hard caps this season’s ceiling. We’re not a bad team without Steve-O by any stretch, but we’re probably not winning it all, and the climb to the WCF is rather steep, much steeper now than it was yesterday. Gonna need a lot more things to break our way now, and there’s no reason to expect stars to align. This sucks.

I ask all of us, how does Adams’ absence adjust the definition of success in the postseason? Is it still WCF or bust? Should we consider ourselves lucky to survive the first round? How far off of legitimately contending still results in this being as successful a season as it should’ve been and largely was during the regular season?

Welp! Maybe we can at least make it to the WCF. I honestly, think we needed him to beat whoever comes from the East

  12. GrizzGump

Honestly at this point gotta cross our fingers that we draw Pels/Clippers then the Kings. Don’t see a road to advancing otherwise, unless Lofton and Tillman play like the second coming.

  13. Jaggleson

We’re just too small. Roster construction was silly to not have a backup C that has legit size / strength. Now we’re up against it.

Going to cheer for the boys but we ain’t going far this year.

  14. Remarkable-Bluejay-9

Yah it’s over ceiling is 2nd round

  15. GrizzVolsTigersLions

Well that’s it then, we’re cooked. We’re not going anywhere without him.

BRUH ALL OVER A BOTCHED GAME WINNER WHYYYYYYY

I think we can still go far but really need to get specific opponents. I think Clips, pels, warriors are still okay matchups while timberwolves, lakers, and kings are all worse now.

  18. It’s not ideal but JJJ and Tillman will have to be rebound focused – it may actually help JJJ stay on the court if his priority is now boards and not blocks. Ja usually walks out with 6-8 rebounds. We got this. Look at the bright side, we’re quicker, we’re younger and if we aim to blow the doors off our opponents playing to our strengths we should be okay.

  19. SnakeArms6677

because Why wouldn’t we continue getting ass fucked with injuries

  20. Junior about to be able to earn some minutes. His rebounding off the bench will be huge for us
