  1. Durant has only made the Finals once and the Conference Finals twice in his career without Curry. Great player of course, but the overrating of this player is just way over the top.

  2. The Warriors have been too shit all year to try and get cute with the seedings. Not to even mention that all the teams around them in the standings have the tie breaker on them. All they can and should do is try and win both remaining games and thank their lucky stars if they manage to avoid the play-in.

  3. It will be clippers suns, Warriors kings and lakers grizzlies. None of the three are losing the two remaining games.

  4. You play for 5th. Sure you draw the sun's in the 1st round, but what does that say if you beat them? You beat the sun's as defending champions and a kind of scattered west you have to think you would be the most qualified team to win the West.

And if you lose you have the perfect out that you went against a stacked sun's team that are likely gonna be well rested going into the play-offs. If you play for 6th or 7th first what happens if you lose both play in games and you are bounced? You kind of look stupid. But let's say it plays out and you get 6th like you want. Ok, now the expectation is you should win because you are the more experienced team…if you don't it kind of looks worse then losing to the sun's and on the other side if you do beat them it doesn't set you up mentally cause you kind of took the easy path by looking for the easier seed. If you just play to get up the highest it shows a belief that the sun's should be worried about you and not the other way around.

  5. This is such a neurotic conversation. Risks aside, the goal is a title. Golden State is gonna have to play the Suns or whoever beats them, so…what's the point in dodging them?

  6. Avoid the play-in. Who cares who you face in the first round, the goal is the championship. You have to face the good teams to win, no matter what.

  7. Ducking a team is a reasonable 1st Round Playoff strategy, but dropping to the PlayIns just to avoid CP0rings, Booker, and KD is a bad decision. Dropping to the PlayIns is a bad strategy in general. Take the Suns in the 1st Round because you'd eventually have to play them anyway. If Steph doesn't score 30 there's no guarantee they make it out of the PlayIns. Win while you can because the Playoffs is a different ball game, and GSW knows that.

  8. Kevin is such a jock sniffer. They have KD was his same argument when the T’wolves got Rudy G. That Rudy trade was dumb and the T’wolves made the play in back to back years.

  9. Warriors are the champs. Suns are nothing. If having the all-time playoff great kevin Durant means so much what happened in Brooklyn and Oklahoma.

  10. I swear KOC was trying to argue that any team would want the 6 seed because it's safer than the play-in in their video on the Kings like last week. Consistency doesn't seem to be a strong point in either of those two's takes…

  11. Don’t tell me they are a championship team if they’re trying to avoid teams in the first round. No real legit champion should be ducking n dodging anyone. The talk of this is ridiculous

  12. Dude: KD is soft now. Physically & emotionally. His marriage and subsequent divorce to Kyrie ruined him. I wouldn’t could on him for a Finals run. He’s not Kawhi. Kawhi’s not Kawhi anymore

  13. Phoenix could have the same issues vs Golden State that they had against the Mavs last year. If the Warriors start making 3’s at a high clip, it’ll outpace Phoenix’s midrange attack.

  14. 6th or 7th is so much better than 5th. Not only must they play the Suns as the 5th seed, but the next round would be against the Nuggets.
The Warriors could really use a series against the Kings (or to a lesser extent Grizzlies) to build back up chemistry. Basketball is often about momentum and giving yourselves the ability to gain momentum is huge. Could the playin go horrible? Of course as it has for the Warriors, but it’s necessary.

  15. I’m not a watcher of this show but dude on the left is dense. Kd has done virtually nothing without Steph. Steph had beaten the same team that wrecked Kd. & Steph has beaten Kd head to head in the playoffs. Not to mention he is also Chris Paul’s father. Why in the world would think the Suns are some type of legit threat to the Dubs?
