Rj had some great moments last night but it was fun watching the ball moving lately without rj and randle..he stopped ball movement at times last night and his lack of shooting will continue to hurt us especially in a series we're gonna need to hit 3s to win..plus his defense on trey Murphy was really poor..it was a so so game from him even though stats looked good
When RJ is on the court I expect us to lose.
We fell because of rj barret. The amount of wasted possessions he gives us is ridiculous. I really hope hes on another basketball team next year. Such an “I” player

RJ has to pick up his 3pt shooting vs the Cavs. It will be tougher for him to finish in the paint against Allen & Mobley.
RJ should take a page out of Hart's book and only shoot threes when he's absolutely positively wide open and would hurt the team by NOT taking the shot. I love his self confidence, but this high volume jacking from the outside is reaching Sandy Lyle territory.

I just don't like Thibs and this front office.. There's no excuse not to have a stretch 5 on this roster with so many slashers like RJ and the uncertainty of Julius' jumpshot coming into this season..
I mean Julius shot well this season right… But we didn't know that… Julius didn't start shooting jumpers until he got to New Orleans. Which was his 5th year. Even then he did his damage in the low post.
The Knicks suck at building a roster and Thibs sucks at making adjustments..
They do nothing to maximize Randle. They do nothing to maximize Brunson.
They carry this team by the strength of their own ability.
How many does it need to be said. Where are the pick n rolls in this offense where the bigs are actually fed the ball?
The team is better than what we see. They just need a stretch 5 and better coaching.

Josh Hart wanted to be a knick a while ago. That's no secret. But the Knicks play this favoritism game.

Then when RJ started showing some flashes .. They traded for Cam Reddish.
All the talks of RJ having the keys and the 1st / 2nd option next to Brunson..
Then they bring in Hart to mesh with Brunson.. Got Brunson's dad there.
Management is pals with Thibs..
Do you not see a pattern of bias business ? They have clouded judgment and don't act accordingly.. They ride waves
RJ is seeing a little push back but the bar for him is so low. He can thrive in this situation.
Brunson won't see any pressure unless he just completely folds which is unlikely.
But the knicks don't do enough scheme wise and roster wise to maximize Julius. He's not getting any younger.

look, rj's biggest problem is that he wants to be a SHOOTER when he isn't. i been saying for the longest time, he NEEDS to stick to the bully ball; he NEEDS to dominate in the paint, get 20 – 30 ppg / 8 rebounds / 5 assists. he should be able to consistently be around those numbers every night

The playoffs may determine RJ's future with the Knicks. The fans are right. RJ is the player to worry about in the playoffs. He can kill us with his shooting and the number of shots he takes. And also his defense. For most of the season, he has been sucking the air out of Grimes' game. Many of RJ's threes should have gone to Grimes. His defense as noted by just about everyone is bad, so that's 2 ways he can hurt our chances. I don't know what the answer to his poor 3 shooting is, or even if there is an answer. But he has completed 4 years in the league and he is going in the wrong direction. I don't want to see him taking anywhere near 20 shots/game. I don't want to paint a picture that is all bad. He makes clutch shots, though he missed a big 3 last game. But he is not the player we want for the long term.
