It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

I kind of hope we give him a long cheap contract. He has a lot of athleticism and doesn’t have much experience playing for a team. Worst case scenario, he’s a third stringer that can come in and get putbacks and play with lots of hustle. When he plays against good NBA teams though it becomes really obvious how bad his decision-making is and how he’s currently undersized for a 5

    Hmm – is he though?

If he not for the fact that he is only 19 and a rangy athletic, big – I personally haven’t seem much from him to garauntee a roster spot. But he is young and has some tools that could be really useful if he works it out.

I am sure we offer another 2-way (if allowed – I am never sure of the rules) or maybe a minimum contract to keep him through to training camp to see what other rosters moves are made, and he will probably be favoured over guys like Dieng and Birch – but that might honestly be it. The only thing going for him ahead of Mamu, Romeo and Champanie is his age – but is that enough to put him ahead of more than 1 of those guys?

If we make other moves, or pick up some other young FA’s that get cut by their teams – then I think there is a decent chance that Barlow isn’t on the roster opening day of next season.

I hope I am wrong. And I hope that our coaching staff have seen enough improvement and potential to continue to work with him, because as I said he is very young and there are some tools there – but I have seen very little so far that has translated to NBA level.
