The Houston Rockets are “widely expected by league officials” to part ways with Stephen Silas this offseason. Silas was hired by the Rockets in 2020 when all candidates were required to meet with James Harden and Russell Westbrook. Westbrook was traded to the Washington Wizards before the season started and Harden was dealt to the Brooklyn Nets in January. Silas was then asked to navigate a clear rebuild. Nick Nurse, Scott Brooks and Rex Kalamian are three potential candidates to replace Silas. — Jake Fischer/Yahoo Sports

I really don't believe he had a fair chance. Scapegoat.
I've watched majority of rockets game s and with all due respect he's just not a good coach. Doesn't hold players accountable, limit playbook, Doesn't take advantage of mismatches , lack or slow adjustments. Overall it seems like he just doesn't have a feel for the game. I wish him well in his future endeavors.
all the ROCKETS need real point guard who can protect the ball pass the ball the right time to player on the right spot and play defense
