  1. chatabooga3125

    We really did it guys
the prophecy of the midlanta Hawks is complete

  2. ahend1999

perfectly balanced as all things should be

  3. Empayde

Would’ve been nice to win but oh well. Wish Donovan Williams got more minutes I’ve liked what I’ve seen so far

  4. thenihilisticaxolotl

I sat this game out, why is Payton Prichard playing 46 minutes wtf

  5. Aardvark-0001

Haha well the arguments about us having a lot of depth is settled for this season I guess
 lol

  6. geefganyay

about what i expected, nice to see more threes being attempted and also fun to see bruno and jalen out there

  7. Dr_Slump98

We let Prichard get 14 boards??? Man we are cooked 😂😂

  8. gggg3344

Reminder that we did all of these offseason moves to end up with a worse record than last years. Fuck nick ressler, he wasn’t cooking shit. I hope Travis gets the position he deserves and wins a championship winning team elsewhere. Now, I hope we do make the playoffs though. I do want this season to end ASAP so we can focus on building this team right with a good coaching staff and scheme.

  9. IngloriousBastard68

If this team manages to play any worse this entire apartment complex is going up in flames!

The vibes feel off. It doesn’t feel like Miami is going to be very fun for the hawks on Tuesday.

  11. EuroStepJam

and the Hawks cover 6.5 – thanks Donovan!

  12. YeeezusWept

I don’t wanna see any of these non-rotation guys on an Nba court ever again other than Garrison and Bruno. Haven’t seen enough of Tyrese or Donovan yet

  13. IngloriousBastard68

We somehow managed to make Pritchard look like prime Westbrook đŸ€Ł

  14. proace360

I didn’t realize Bruno was on the team lmfao

  15. Josh378

I mean, what are our expectations? Boston played most of their 2nd unit in the 3rd and 4th vs. Gleague and 3rd teamers? Half of those guys out there can’t even rotate on defense correctly.

  16. Sad_Arrival8002

Off-season was built around the Heat series. We know they are going to trap Trae, this is a DJM legacy game

  17. ahend1999

in an alternate universe that “Nate McMillan and the Atlanta Hawks have parted ways” woj bomb would hit after the final buzzer and we sit at the 11th seed.

  18. cblocktherock

Bruno Fernando looked pretty good. Don’t let him shoot 3s and he’s decent

  19. quarterthrowback

Act surprised that this team finished 41-41

  20. Your Atlanta Hawks fall to the Boston Celtics 114 to 120 and end the season at 41-41 cementing their legacy as the most mediocre team in NBA history. Balanced as all things should be at .500. Defense was optional tonight as two players set new career highs against us. Mike Muscala had a revenge game scoring 27, and Payton Pritchard on top of his career-high scored a triple-double of 30 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Sam Hauser matched a career-high of 26 points. In general, the game was a snooze fest at least from our end.

AJ Griffin was bad until the 4th quarter. He ended the night with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. On 5/13 shooting and ⅕ from 3. With under 6 in the first AJ had a nice fake and floater. He hit his first three to start the 4th. A possession after he got a foul call on a 3-point attempt. He had a nice layup over a Hauser, navigating the screen well. With about 7 minutes to go, he hit a floater. In the fourth, he made Ÿ shots. In general, it wasn’t great basketball from AJ. C

Jalen Johnson was good. 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 3 blocks in 19 minutes. He shot 6/10 from the field and 2/4 from 3. In the second quarter, Johnson had a pull-up midrange with about three minutes to go. With about a minute left, he had a nice defensive possession tipping a pass from a Celtics player, then got a block from behind which he got a foul call. To start the third Jalen drew a foul on a floater attempt. Johnson hit his second three with 5 minutes in the third quarter. He did most of his damage in the thyroid quarter making Ÿ shots. He had a nice transition dunk with under 5 to go. In general, the defense was very good and he was active on that end. I would like to point out that he had multiple near steals almost poking the ball away from the opposing players bothering them. Solid showing. A for JJ.

Bey was fine. 9 points, 4 rebounds 3 assists, and 3 steals on 4/8 shooting and ⅓ from three. A highlight i liked was a putback dunk off a Jalen pull-up three miss. Can’t really complain about this stat line in 15 minutes. B+

I think Bruno is tonight’s player of the game. He ended with 19 points 10 rebounds and 1 block on 8/11 shooting. Bruno hit a hook shot with 10 minutes in the second. The next possession he got in the lane and got a foul call. With about a minute in the third, he had a nice dunk after missing the finish on a lob. With under 7 in the fourth, he had a nice tip in off a Holiday miss. Bruno drew a foul with under 4 to go. He hit an alley from Vit with about a minute to go. He attempted a three for the 2nd to last offensive possession, and it didn’t look bad. Not much else to say other than he was solid. I think in general the defense was decent, he affected and contested shots well. It felt like he had more than one block. I feel like there were some moments where he could have had an easy rebound and a Celtic player was easily able to grab it. Although he isn’t some amazing player, from what I saw tonight he has gotten way better. 2020 Bruno was not doing this at all. A+

Garrison Matthews was a flamethrower tonight ending with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist. On 5/12 shooting and 4/11 from 3. With around 9 minutes in the third Garrison Matthews hit a three-moving without the ball. Matthews made his 3rd three with under 5 minutes left in the third. In the next possession, he could draw a foul call and made both free throws. He hit his fourth with under 30 seconds due to some ball movement including a skip pass from Tyrese Martin. As you can see he made his threes. He chucked and created them when he saw the opportunity. He also got to the line and made all 5 shots. He is a sniper. A+ for his role

Arron Holiday was awful. 7 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 steals on 3/12 shooting and ⅕ from three. Holiday had a nice side-step-long two with under 7 in the third. He made a top of the key three next possession. After that his whole shot chart is red Xs. It wasn’t fun watching him miss midranges. D-

Tyrese Martin ended with 4 points and 6 rebounds on 2/6 shooting. He had a pull-up midrange jumper with 5 minutes left in the game. He hit a putback shot when Bruno lost an offensive rebound. I thought there were a couple of possessions where he moved the ball and made the right pass. Other than that he was mid. D.

Im gonna save some time here. Vit and Trent Forest combined for 0 points, 6 rebounds 8 assists, and 2 steals on 0/5 shooting in 36 minutes. D for both of them.

OO was fine with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists, and a steal in 4/7 shooting. He made a three in two attempts which were nice. Other than that offense was typical. He really helped on the offensive board with 4. It was a fairly average game in more time than he usually plays with 26 tonight. B-

Hunter was good offensively 14 points and 3 rebounds in 16 minutes. Not much else you can ask for there. He was the only starter that played and looked good against bench units. He probably shouldn’t have played today. B+

We are now in the play-in against the heat. A similar matchup from last year. Although they haven’t been great this season, a lot of the core players are still the same so I wonder how we will look with the addition of Dejounte. I’ll see yall then!
