Anyone not named Ingram cant hit free throws, threes, layups or dunks as soon as they leave Louisiana.

3 fucking offensive boards allowed after missed free throws. There are probably teams that havent allowed that many in 82 games. Emberassing.

Cant complain about shit, had this on a platter and instead decided to take 2 steps back fuck yourself in the ass repeatedly

They were on the 2nd half of a b2b and completely dominated that 4th quarter. No excuse for that shit

  2. UnimpressedAsshole

I’m literally yelling to myself “anybody but CJ” during this 4th quarter, and I’m 70% frustrated with him and only 30% happy… but some of y’all need to chill tf out expressing literal vitriolic hate for a guy over basketball, let alone a guy on your own fucking team.

  3. causewaytoolong

Sucks this game ended like this with what was at stake, also sucks that we totally wasted BI’s highest scoring game of the season.

    See y’all Wednesday 😈

  4. poorwhitecash

Rough fucking day. 0 for 5.

    We wanted:

    NOP- W

    GSW- L

    LAL- L

    LAC- L

    MINN- L

    We Got:

    NOP- L

    GSW- W

    LAL- W

    LAC- W

    MINN- W

    Timberwolves without Gobert look good

  6. twojace21

Josh’s and CJ’s late game decision making lost this for us. Mostly CJ. God damn such a frustrated loss and an infuriating second half of the 4th.

Not over yet tho. Gotta bounce back strong.

  7. Character-Hat3737

Historical collapse from CJ there. Just unbelievable sequence he gave the game away.

What an absolute bummer. BI did all he could.

  8. ChickenWarm

I don’t think I can watch the play-ins, this game took everything out of me. Even had to tease us in the end with the glimmer of hope.

  9. Razor-Ramon-Sessions

I know CJ has a torn ligament but the boy has lost us so many games this year.

Trey is so much more valuable to this team right now. CJ is the definition of a shooter. Never stops.

Edit: the offense in the 2nd half sucked again. No movement, just a bunch of BI iso. The coaching staff and players reverting late in game is so tiring. We dominated the first half and then had to watch February Pels basketball in the 2nd half.

  10. If this game doesn’t tell you that this team is consistently outcoached on a game-by-game basis, I don’t know what will.

    Small lineup got absolutely destroyed.
Piss poor game and timeout management.
ZERO game feel for games when CJ makes 5 to 6 losing plays in a row.
KAT has 5 fouls? Don’t try and get him out of the game — THEY DONT HAVE ANYONE ELSE TO PLAY HIS POSITION.

Coaches scared. Willie has to go to school this summer. He just has to.

CJ McCollum’s final regular season in New Orleans 🥲 he was one of the players I’ve seen put on the uniforms, we’ll definitely him

  12. Sslagathor

CJ completely threw this game jesus. Going to MIN or LA to make the playoffs is gonna be tough especially with our road record, having that 2nd game at home would’ve been so important. That loss to Houston really really stings now.

  13. Aeschylus101

This game was a showcase of almost all our problems in the second half. But the biggest one. CJ. what the actual fuck? Dude your shot was not falling. You were ice cold. Why did you try to hero ball the whole fourth? Why not step back and let BI and Trey work? Why didn’t Willie step in there? I get he’s a vet and all but like….damn. This game was as painful as it gets to end the season on. And there’s a chance we’ll have to see the Wolves again to make it to the playoffs.

  14. jacobythefirst

I knew it was bad when CJ iced everyone in the 3rd and let them just get back in.

Classic CJ chuck job and even worse no one else was doing good either, besides BI.

Edit: I miss Jose and Zion

  15. goku7144

That game was kinda thrown by CJ at the end there. Went for a pullup 3 that he whiffed, went for a dunk that got rejected (somehow) and was a turnover they scored on. Nance also gave another key turnover at the end there. Just sloppy play

  16. Can we draw up plays for Trey please, it’s getting ridiculous

  17. Aromatic-Macaron3783

JV only played 21 minutes with no Gobert and KAT in foul trouble

  18. madamsquirrel7

god when it matters CJ wets the bed every time

  19. dalton_k

CJ plays like a JV kid trying to get on the varsity squad. Negative BBIQ in critical moments

  20. reggie3408

CJ is hurt, why doesn’t he keep getting to shoot and dribble everywhere? Either bench him or just have him not shoot. This was so winnable

  21. Regular_Grade_4767

Can anyone actually explain to me why Josh Richardson was on the court? Y’all downvote me in the match thread but no one can provide a legitimate argument to have this guy on the floor over literally our best rebounder.

  22. Danishes724

CJ and JV have no place on this team. I’m tired of pretending they do. They can both go this offseason, whatever it takes. Entire front court needs a reset. JV/Nance/Willy/Hayes is probably the worst group in the league. The bench group of Nance Naji and Richardson is also terrible. If all 3 of them weren’t on the roster next season it would be for the best. I have no words on why Dyson Daniels got 0 minutes while Richardson got 30. Trey and Herb also took a combined 13 shots today while CJ and JV got 38 and completely lost us the game because they couldn’t make any of them. This game was a summary of Griffin and Green’s failure.
