Wilbon on ESPN just got done saying it was a difficult decision but the deciding factor for his vote was “playing in Philly is harder than it is in Milwaukee or Denver”. Embiid is certainly a worthy MVP but there are more than a few unworthy MVP voters.

We all know Giannis is too humble to go around moping and whining about his MVP case like Embiid does. I’m just glad he finally said what most think, his talents are taken for granted, especially since he won a chip; the one thing the media zeroed in on him being unable to do the years he won MVP.

Can’t say it enough. How fucking blessed are we to have this man on our team. He’s truly one of a kind.

Creating a narrative by not creating a narrative

It seems pretty clear they’re not going to give it to him this year, but this quote got me: “Eventually, they’re going to be like, ‘Man, give this guy this MVP because goddamn, he’s still here.’ That’s what’s going to happen.” I’m sorry, but none of the other contenders talk or act with that kind of determination. He may not win MVP this year, but I guarantee he’s going to have more championships than Embiid and Jokic combined when all is said and done.

If you won’t say it Giannis, I’ll say it: You’re the most handsome guy.

    > There was a wall, and I went right through it. We won the championship. And now there’s this wall that is called the narrative of an MVP. I’m going to go right through that wall too.”

Bring me a wall to go through it, too!

    > “I really believe from the bottom of my heart that eventually I’ll get another one. Until then, I’m trying to get that second ring.”

    What a legend!
