[Feigen] Stephen Silas: “I feel proud. I wanted to be a head coach my whole life like my dad. I’m proud of these guys. There’s been a lot of talk about my job for a long time. They kept working and playing hard, playing hard for their coach. I’m proud of that.”

It didn’t work out but this is a classy response.
Silas was not a good coach for us, but let’s be honest we gave him a tough situation. A gm that didn’t want to win, the youngest starting core in the nba (who he honestly didn’t do the greatest job at mentoring), and it was his first hc job and given those unfortunate scenerios he was set up for disaster. Being a first time hc I mean it’s not easy mentoring a young team he just wasn’t the fit at all. It was a good move to fire him for the rockets franchise even though it might’ve not been fair to him, but it is what it is. Both the rockets and Silas now can get a fresh start which I’d say is best for both parties. It was a rough ride Silas, but thank you for everything (which isn’t much💀) nonetheless especially if we get victor/scoot then the tank was a definite success
Hope he find a good assistant spot with a nice team. Coaching tenure wasn’t the best with us but he’s a great dude
Not a good coach at all, but seems like a decent guy
Stay classy coach
Absolutely grateful and classy. I hope he gets another shot elsewhere. He was dealt a hand and something were under his control that he did not handle perfectly while many were definitely out of his control. I love the team we have now with some impending pieces and he was a part of developing that.
Silas seems like a good guy. Really hope he gets another shot and makes it work on a team that’s in a better situation. Bickerstaff was horrible for us but look at him now. Sometimes the first opportunity just doesn’t work out.
I don’t even like him but he deserves another season
Lol they didn’t play for you. They played in-spite of you.
