Fred isn't a starter on a championship team. He can be an important piece, off the bench, when he provides defense against regular size pgs and hits catch and shoot 3s. He is lucky Raptors are letting him sell this narrative to get paid. Sign and trade his ass to Pelicans.

Genuinely, they might see him as an investment. And that's dangerous because they might think he is the same as Kyle Lowry. But he's not.
Kyle Lowry was against authority. He wasn't against other fans, or just overconfident and abrasive. Kyle Lowry was called uncoachable but he was selfless.
He didn't overwork himself to be in the picture. He didn't overwork himself to be in the center of the picture. Fred is different Fred is co-opting the coaching staff to be the PICTURE itself.
It's two different things. They are not the same.
