This is the Dame response that stood out to me the most, who do we think Dame has in mind?

Who was the next most flawed player he befriended on the Olympic squad? Probably that guy.

Oh dear me, I just looked up that roster and he’s going to try and force Cronin to trade the knicks pick and shaedon for zach levine.

Gonna guess Siakam, Giannis in the past, Bam Adebayo (Olympic teammate), Zach Lavine (another Olympic guy).

All Star caliber players stuck in mediocrity.

Giannis, Bridges, OG, JV are names he has used as examples of players who:

“Are going to get to the rim. Good playmaker, defender, disruptive, and compliments the way each other plays.”

This is good news unless it is Zach Lavine.

Edit: Draymond also would be bad news. Don’t get me wrong, Blazer fans know better than any how good he is. But I want nothing to do with anyone from the Warriors. They are so good they make everyone seem better than they are. Plus Dray got benched in the finals last year, is getting older with a ton of miles on him, AND you know he is trying to get the bag. I would’ve killed to have Draymond on this team a couple years ago, but I think it would be a mistake to get him at this stage of his career.

Mikal is definitely on that list, assume Cam Johnson is as well (tho being an RFA makes that super difficult), bet he’s including a homie or two like Demar but plz no. Giannis and Embiid are definitely fans of his game and would likely be willing to greenlight a move if they became available but the odds of those organizations being willing to move them are astronomically low. Talking pure pipe dream stuff.

Then there are probably a number of other vets that are less obvious and that we wouldn’t necessarily consider needle movers that he has in mind.

If he’s actually telling the truth here, this is kinda huge. Off the top of my head there could be a couple of people to think about, but we’ll probably get a much better idea after the playoffs. This is exciting

Fans getting stoked on mentions of needle movers need to remember that Dame’s contract makes a lot of these prospective guys very, very difficult to attain. Ant and Nurk might get close financially with some of these names being mentioned, but talent wise, nearly every single team we engage in a conversation is going to INSIST on Sharpe’s inclusion. He’s the prize due to his on court value and team friendly deal.

Off the top of my head?

I’d say you’re looking at a Boesky, a Jim Brown, a Miss Daisy, two Jethros and a Leon Spinks.

Not to mention the biggest Ella Fitzgerald ever.

My brain: Surely he means Embiid or Bridges

    Reality: LaVine, DeRozan, Draymond

We not giving Sharpe and we wouldn’t have to cuz our two picks would be able to get those teams that type of player. So Dame and Sharpe are untouchable’s and makes Ant trade able.

    Mikal, Derozan, Harteinstein,

I will love to get derozen if it is cheaper

I think if we get a top-4 pick (other than #1) you can package that plus anfernee and have the basis for as good a trade package as anyone

We really want the Sixers to choke in the first round haha, might be the only way Embiid says fuck it.

Hmm, I don’t know. Who in the NBA likes to sew?
