I mean, it was a hospital game (or garbage time game, if you prefer) but it was still against NBA level competition. And a full game’s worth of minutes ensures he’ll be ready for as many minutes against the same level of competitions for perhaps several playoff series.
He probably won’t set the world on fire when it matters most, but I think we saw a glimpse of the fact that he can and will contribute.
