I don’t think most people are haters, it’s just that we haven’t seen the incremental improvement we expected of him and also we have better players on the bench now. Also, this was against the Memphis G team that ran a 6 man rotation

The depth got better. The team got better. Isaiah Joe basically got the minutes that Tre Mann was getting. Tre Mann’s stock probably dropped more than anyone else on the team from preseason to now.

  3. Yeah I dunno if playing a 46min OKC Blue game is the rebuttal to the “haters”

  4. Triple double in a g league NBA game. Glad he had a good game but this game meant less than scoring 10 points when we were down 70 to the grizz last season.

If Tre Mann’s defense was good – he would have gotten every minute waters played this season. He really needs to be on a team where he can get a lot of minutes to play himself into form. Everyone talking about the triple double, but he turned the ball over about 5 times in his early posessions.

  6. It’s good that Tre Mann looks good in this game because the haters would feast if he looked trash in a game where the other team’s best players were Kenny Lofton Jr. And Zaire Williams.

I know this was basically a G-League game, but I liked Dieng’s play. I’m definitely starting to see what the FO is.

I was at the game and it was fun as fuck. He killed it!

I mean he’s playing against 3rd string guys and with our young guys that aren’t our studs lol

Nope. I’m still a hater. He’s the 15th guy on the bench (if that) on a contending team.

Not really. This was basically a G league game with alternate uniforms, and he still wasn’t very efficient and had a handful of turnovers.

Mann isn’t a bad player, he’s a guy who belongs on an NBA roster. His problem is that he’s not very good at playing short minutes as a supporting player, he’s a guy who works better with high usage. That just isn’t something we want from him in OKC, where we have one of the best benches in the league (especially at guard).

He had a good rookie season, and may still end up being a pretty good player, but right now he just doesn’t help us very much and we have more development guys than minutes to give them.

I was more excited about Dieng. I was expecting him to come into the league very raw but at certain times, ge’s shown flashes of his potential.
