  1. The league literally releases the video of the actual drawing of the lotto balls after the fact. They don’t televise it because that would immediately ruin the suspense of who gets the first pick. The people that claim the lottery is rigged one way or the other every year have no idea what they’re talking about.

  2. I’d weight our odds of landing Wemby at 14%. No particular reason I landed on that exact number, no sir.

  3. My thought is Vic is going to SA that's y we're getting these ATX games and New Mexico game to get our fan base back plus we're a bottom 2 team now, we lose this last game today and I think our odds r real high to get the #1 pick

  4. What the league really want is that no matter who draft the most popular talent(this year obviously Vic)that he will
move to a big market team once his extension is up.Just like Lebron moving to Miami and then LA,they don’t really want him to stay in Cleveland for ever.I doubt they need to rig the lottery, because in the end of the day,big cities always attract free-agents one way or another .

  5. « You have to put him in a market to tap into where he's from ». Let me tell you, first Victor isn't going to try and impose where he's going. We're not like that in Europe.
Second, the Spurs are viewed in very high regards in France, it's probably the most well known team next to the Chicago Bulls over here. If France as a whole had a say in where he goes with the teams that are tanking rn, that would be the San Antonio Spurs.

  6. lol spurs are marketing to austin too now not a coincidence, wemby wouldnt just rep san anto but austin too 😂😂. rc buford playing 3d chess

  7. What about when lebron went to Cleveland? They were so bad before they got him🤣 he’s just speaking out his ass like always

  8. Boat you and Gilbert arenas be having terrible takes it seem like you're all out of whack when it comes to black players like you don't understand the plight of black players seem like you don't lean on you Europeans last Caucasian players and look at it from a eurocentric out look honestly

  9. Gilbert is just choosing a big market not an organization that will help him develop as a player

  10. France already loves SA bc of Tony and diaw. It would make more sense internationally to send him to SA

  11. It’s not a terribly horrible take but he’s right in that for his brand & the NBA, they want him in market they can make most money off him — the NBA doesn’t care about small markets & they hate what the Spurs were able to accomplish—but a lot of that fed off Tim Duncan & the fact he didn’t care about the mktg & spotlight — these younger players are different, I trust that TP9 has the Spurs plugged in behind the scenes tho on Wemby

  12. I mean if this were the case the NBA would have rigged it so the Knicks get Zion. This guy is dumb as fuck.

  13. Out of all the bottom teams, I think Houston would be the worst scenario for him. They haven't showed any development in any of their draft picks so far

  14. Gilbert is always trippin, in a hilarious way. He’s entertaining for a reason, but that same reason is why folks don’t look to him for real talk lol. He a sound bite machine, that’s it.

  15. If you look at the last two seasons the Pistons finished with the 2nd worst record then last season Orlando finished with the 2nd worst record. This season the spurs finished with the 2nd worst record in the league. And by that the 2nd worst record got the 1st overall pick. Just sayin!

  16. The draft or the games aren't rigged all the time. But I do believe when there is an opportunity for the NBA to improve as a business and improve it's product, the league offices conspire to make it happen. The league was saved by the emergence of Bird v Magic and Celtics v Lakers in the 80's. Having a steady supply of Superstars is the life blood of the NBA. It would be a top priority of the league to give Wemby (if he really is that good) the opportunity to become as famous as humanly possible.

  17. Yeah Gilbert’s logic literally makes no sense lmao why would the nba send a new young up and coming star to an already established market? When he could go to a small market and expand their market, in then expanding the nbas fandom in those areas lol which honestly fits really well with what we’re trying to do exactly with the Austin expansion

  18. I would not be surprised if the Spurs get Victor even if they don’t win the draft lottery.
Like, for example, if Houston wins the number one pick, I could see San Antonio offering Houston our pick wherever it is probably second or 3rd+ a bunch of these first round draft picks we have been accumulating for the past couple seasons. throw in Keldon Johnson if you want. Heck throw in any other name on the roster not named Jeremy or Vassell. Maybe Houston would go for that. maybe not. but that would be plan B and the spurs organization better be ready to put that plan into action as soon as they know the results of the draft lottery, no matter who ends up actually winning it.

  19. Clan, if Wemby becomes a bust Im coming to you to see what you say now. Because right now all we know is there's a 70% chance Wemby turns into another NBA bust.
