The Rocket's failure is on Stone – if he doesn't hire a strong coach it will be clear he hasn't learned anything. It may already be too late if coaches and free agents are hesitant to come to the Rockets. I can't buy in to the the idea that this is not on ownership – a rookie owner needs experienced people. This is a case of the blind leading the blind – we need Nurse or Udoka. As for guarantees, it is wise to remember the Edgar Alan Poe quote: “Believe nothing you hear, and only one half that you see.”
The question(s) for our front office is…wait to hire the new HC until after the draft or before? Both have their pros and cons as well, but finding the right 'fit' for our next top draft pick with the new HC is crucial. KPJ is going to be in limbo until those two steps are accomplished imo. I think Fertitta and Stone will get it right. #RocketsFanForLife
A major difference between us and okc when thunder traded Paul George they got SGA on top of all the picks. Stone trades harden doesn’t get the young star and that’s why we still ass

Nick Nurse would be either really really good for the team or really really bad for the team. I dont wanna take that risk with him. This team has such a high offensive limit, you cant bring in Nick Nurse who is good at defense. I dont know bro. If it works out then you have a contender, but if it fails then you gotta change your entire team since no one in rockets can defend except tari. Cause NN will drive away the types of jalen green, kpj and alperen sengun.
Will a new head coach keep the twins together in the starting lineup?
1. I wonder who would’ve been the starting point guard had that been Silas’ choice.
2. I wonder if Stone will mandate that KPJ is the starting point guard next season.
3. Drafting Wemby will pretty much reset this rebuild.

I don't feel sorry for Silas except for the fact he lost his father…….but other than that, he was garbage
I feel like dude was set up, but The Rockets are taking a page out the Astros and tank. Started pulling it together at the last month. But the guy in Detroit does from HC to front office. I don't get it lol
I don't think the OKC comparison is far. They core for that team is more defined. The best player (SGA) is an allstar. They have young vets with playoffs experience even while young. On top of that a winning culture was set. Before Westbrook left and during CP3's tenure. A LOT of the staff that was there with both those players are still there including some of the players they played with.
Some huge differences that play heavily in their favor.

Besides a lack of accountability, questionable rotations, inconsistency with players minutes, & an overall lack of improvement over the last few seasons Silas wasn’t that bad!
He was not the problem they were tanking and he’s the scapegoat
Tanking for draft picks so blame the General Manager not the players or the coaches

Rockets need to do a makeover like the Texans have done…..screw the analytics and bring a staff in who knows basketball….Bring in Udoka and let the man work…especially if we get Wemby.

It was a bad decision from the start getting him the Houston Rockets Never been known for getting unknowned brand coaches in a very long time the GM should be next then after that the owner should sell the team to somebody that wants the Rockets to win
Now that he gone fans should treat him respectfully wasn't the coach we wanted but shit happens
The front office, the coach and some players have sucked all the joy out of watching the Rockets. I enjoyed much more being stuck in limbo when we had Brooks, Scola, Lee and those guys.

Genuinely nice guy but it's good for this team to move forward. He came in thinking there would be veterans and ended in a rebuild. While some was not his fault, the rotations and in game adjustments were pretty bad.
