Yes… They can if Snider does the unthinkable.
That's only playing the starters like 5 min tops and then moving into your real line-up that complements each other.
The starting lineup players don't fit each other. But pay dictates they start. So start them and then move into the line-ups that actually work.
Murray or Trae at PG doesn't matter but the team functions better when they have a real shooter or two shooters on the floor at once. Because it opens the floor for them to create and score.
Trae plays better with Bogi, Hunter, and Capela on the floor or Two shooters.
Murray plays better with Okungwu, JJ, Bey, and either Bogi or Griffin
The Problem is Hunter needs to improve his 3pt shooting and finishing at the rim.
JJ fits with Murray, Okungwu, Bey, and Bogi so well because all of those players like to run and shoot and are all feisty. So it allows JJ to be himself and that's disruptive and athletic.
He also allows DJ to play off-ball defense which he is good at while he plays on-ball defense which he is very good at.
So to me as long as the traditional starting 5 is not on the court together Murray and Trae can carry this team.
Once Trae learns to play off ball and allow Murray to facilitate then they can both be on the court at the same time more often. But right now the spacing is just not good when those two along with non-shooters are all on the floor together
In order for the Hawks to beat Mia Bogi and Bey have to have big games scoring and JJ had to do what he has been doing the since he has returned. That is he has to be dynamic on defense and in the open court.
I think the rest of the team are who they are but Bogi, Bey and JJ have to show up in a big way.

If I’m being honest brad I feel like the dejounte Murray trade has not worked out. I don’t think trae and Dj fit together because dj’s defense is overrated and Trae needs a defensive guard next to him.
