The Raptors have a lot of moves to make this summer… The "wait and see" approach from the trade deadline really didn't pan out and you'll face players who are extremely streaky who will want borederline max contracts. So sad to see this honestly… If nothing changes this summer I'm not looking forward for next season… but Congrats OG!!

Theadus Young played 16-17 years in the NBA he need to shut the F up is duty is to mentor young players after the Raptors he will be retiring he should be helping Nick Nurse writes up plays xo on the team not looking for minutes yes every now and then but dude after 16-17 years you should have money 💰 save counseling not fighting for plays!!!!

Raptors is one of the few NBA teams that allow throw away players a chance to have a contract especially if you are young.
I feel like Thads presence on the floor dropped dramatically after he spilled details to the media from a closed team meeting at one point in the season. Don’t quite remember when.
The Raptors have been a model franchise for the last decade based on a superb attitude, fairness, communication, developing young talent, creating a cohesive team spirit… all of which has disappeared and they have the record they deserve.
I was never a fan of Thad Young.. I just don’t see what some fans see in him. His handle’s are horrible and I just feel like he’s going to turn the ball over every time he put’s it on the floor. That was a terrible trade. That was one of the worst move’s last season when we gave up a first round pick for him.

Thad mentioned that they looked at footage from last year, and when Nick was asked about it in media, he was shocked and flabbergasted.
That was the end of any answers for fans. And one of the last times Thad answered the media with any honesty
Ahhhh, now it makes sense about Thad! They getting rid of him. I think he was brought on in the first place because Fred was disliked by so many young players, and wasn't providing the mentorship or leadership Masai wanted. Anyways, this summer sure will be interesting. If Fred is no longer WANTED, then doing a sign and trade will become difficult. I imagine Masai will somehow make something happen, but I sure hope they don't keep Fred for next year. Want OG and Pascal to stay, along with many of the others. Get rid of at least one of the other PG's (Dalano or Malachi), as well as lose Will Barton.
Thad Young is a class act, a calming vet who made mostly good decisions on the court. He played fine for us and did a lot of things that may not have showed in the stat line. He didn’t deserve DNP’s period. NN screwed him over like he had other players. Make few mistakes and you get stapled to bench. Total BS imo.
I blame nurse tbh, whenever thad plays he acts as the center and he clearly cannot play center. as a result, his production looks bad since hes out of position and old.
With the right moves this offseason this Raptors team can be really good next season and back to being a top 4 or top 6 team in the East. We're not that far off we just need to bring in a 1-B type option like what Zach LaVine is to DeRozan right now and Kyle Lowry type point guard who can give the ball to Jak and get OG involved more consistently. We also need to fire Nurse, he's gotten to the point where he's carried personal grudges on the players too much and he's living off that 1 championship way too much. Get Ime Udoka in here and we'll be solid!
Let’s be honest teams do this all the time with players that have bonuses that don’t really deserve them….it’s the business side of things since when did your everyday boss give you a bonus for not performing to what your salary is at.
Nurse has constantly been dirty with our bench players and have been making really stupid decisions. He almost NEVER EVER play our bench. Flynn, baton, young, wisekamp, and etc. But he would play fred for 42 min while being terribly inefficient and hurting our team, he still refuses to play our bench player. Nurse gotta go, his lack of trust in the bench is ridiculous and it hurts the team.
