[Krawczynski] Doesn’t change the result (broken hand), but the tunnel McDaniels went down is covered in a plastic curtain. I’m told he hit the curtain not knowing there was a concrete wall behind it. He apologized to his teammates and coaches & took responsibility for his mistake, sources said

  1. That does change my perception of it quite a bit tbh

My wife left me and she took my dog with her. But it’s ok because at least I’m not Timberwolves fan lol

  3. notafan1

That sounds like something out of a sitcom.

  4. Total_Customer_6627

That’s still an incredibly fucking stupid thing to do, and he’s responsible for doing that.

  5. icesticles

What did he think was behind the plastic curtain? A plastic wall?

  6. jacobtredd00

Just stupid to be punching walls to release your anger either way, need to come up with a better way to deal with it

  7. No_Mammoth_4945

Hitting random shit when you’re angry is lame regardless of what you think you’re punching lol dude is a grown man

  8. DynamixRo

This is why I’m an advocate for transparent curtains in every building.

  9. AleroRatking

I mean. Something is going to be behind the curtain. It’s not going to be open air.

  10. Yergason

What did he expect behind it? Imagine if it was another hallway and he KO’d some staff or civilian

Doesn’t change a thing, he still risked his hand because he couldn’t properly control his emotions.

That does explain it a bit more tho, even when you’re angry af if you punch at a wall you see you can still subconsciously control the strength. Thinking it was just a curtain and open air behind made this mf go 100% plus ultra and broke his hand. You never go full Deku

In other words if Jaden is coming at me I should try the old Loony Toons “olè” trick.

Not the NBA, but the former Marlins GM said in an interview he told his players he doesn’t care what they yell at him and the coaching staff in frustration as long as they don’t do something like this that puts them at risk for injury.

This incident made me think of that, and the timing is what makes it so fucking bad.

  13. Beautiful_Ranger7462

I mean it’s an.absolute clown move and don’t let Lebron get away with is either in 2018 after no short smith and I’m.huge bron supporter he gave up after that but you don’t punch walls

  14. He’s just not the guy. Imaging hurt yourself in a dumb way before getting your fist ever extension

  15. Anora6666

My favorite thing about these threads is all the twooof chest thumping has stopped. Lame ass franchise.

  16. lilb1190

Im glad he took responsibility, but the story would be much more interesting if he went around the locker room, angrily blaming other people.

  17. Ntnme2lose

For some reason that makes it funnier lol

  18. Aggressive-Note2481

How do I get my favorite nba team under my name?

  19. LazyTitan___

It’s plastic curtains all the way down

  20. GillbergsAdvocate

Bro thought he was me everytime I go in the bathroom and it looks like there’s a shadow behind the shower curtain

  21. chickenripp

life lesson for everyone: don’t punch things when you are mad

  22. throwawayjoeyboots

I’ve always been weirded out by people who punch walls or throw their tv or whatever the stereotype is. Seems like massive anger issues that are kept under wraps.

I’ve been angry many times in my life and never once wanted to punch my wall.

  23. SnacksMcMunch

What was the alternative: blaming someone *else* for not stopping him from swinging his fist into an object that he didn’t know the composition of?

Actually that sounds like something that *could* happen.

  24. Honestly I kind of get it, I doubt he would have punched a solid wall full force if he knew

  25. “Took responsibility for his mistakes” what else is he going to do ? Blame the architects of the arena ? Lmao

  26. BillyBean11111

reddit, where dudes who can’t see their dick comments on an 0.00001% athlete reacting in the heat of a moment and making a dumb mistake.

Y’all never slammed your mouse? Threw a remote control? Threw a video game controller? Not once in your entire life?

This is a kid who fucked up, the amount of “what was he thinking” that everyone has said in every thread is mind boggling.

  27. Mandatory punching bags at Twolves locker room starting next season

  28. does someone know why he was angry? i dont think he was involved in the gobert incident?

  29. ExcellentJuice4729

I don’t believe his story, nobody punches at a curtain. And if he did, what’d he think was on the other end, The outside?

  30. Top-Assumption-4464

Tbf he did punch it really fucking hard. Absent drugs or alcohol or a Steven Seagal black belt I’ve never seen a sober person swing at a concrete wall that hard before.
