BEAR DAHN just stay healthy young man #76
Do you like Teven Jenkins Moving to Left Guard ?
I feel the same way about Teven Jenkins changing positions for the 3rd time in 3 years I’m all for flexibility but I’m also for continuity as well I want him to be focus on just 1 position for multiple off-seasons also I gotta disagree with you on Cody Whitehair his blocking wasn’t the problem at center it was his consistent problems with snapping the ball especially in shotgun formations so to me that’s what would give Lucas Patrick the edge in the center battle
Don’t forget we drafted Doug Kramer last year too. I’m sure he’ll get some reps at center and maybe we’ll see what he has
Jenkins went from an LT draft pick to right guard to now left guard. This is why if the Bears do waste the #9 pick on an O-lineman they should choose Pete Skoronski over Paris Johnson. They could play Skoronski at left guard and move Jenkins from right guard to right tackle. It is not easy for a lineman to adjust to the tackle position. It takes most players 2 to 3 yrs to learn how to block on an island against the premium pass rushers in the NFL. This is why the Bears should not give up on Alex Leatherwood at RT. He's going into his 3rd yr and either he has learned the NFL game by now or be considered a 1st rd bust.
Poles is going to trade teven, treats him like a stepchild
This makes me feel like they have more faith in Jenkins them some think. They feel he can make the move
Bears will be cutting Whitehair on June 1 to save the most cap space on his contract.
I like him at guard, but I worry about his mental game. He seems like the kind of guy who could get stuck in his thoughts if the management doesn’t keep him in the right headspace. All the raw talent and so far has proven it at the pro level. Look forward to his career progressing
If I was Tevin Jenkins I would demand a trade. He can start at RT on most teams in this league. So far I'm not a fan of what poles is doing with the oline.
The Windy City Breeze do you know if Teven Jenkins 💯 health any words about that keep the videos coming my dude LET'S GO BEAR'S
I think Peter is the best Lineman in the draft….take him and don’t over think it…short arms or not
Keep in mind that Braxton Jones was a rookie and a mid round draftee. He demonstrated enough to warrant continued opportunities. Players need 2-3 seasons to develop. Very few players walk into the NFL without question marks subsequent to their first season.
I was thinking they might move him back to RT and pick up another in draft after round 1.
Why are yall so invested in how Tevin Jenkins feels. It is what is best for the team..Players move around the line all the time..AS a matter of fact Tevin Jenkins was not great at Tackle his first year..Paris Johnson has never played Right Tackle.. He played Right GUARD one year in College. Last season he played Left Tackle for only one year..Itbis possible he may also play his 2rd position in 3 years if he is drafted and plays Right Tackle. This is not unusual moving around on the line.
I think this move is very very smart. You put your best lineman on your QB's blind side, so that means that the staff sees tevin as one of the best and that he'll kill it over there!
I already assumed this was the logical move.
This moving Tevin Jenkins like a chess piece is getting ridiculous if Poles dosent want Jenkins then just trade him and be done with it.
This is too much added with not doing a damn thing to add to the OL but you sure making sure your buddy the Headcoach gets the pieces he needs. What about your QB are you even going to bother to protect him with quality linemen or is it too much of a bother everybody else may be praising you and telling you how smart you are but I'm not drinking this watered down kool aide I see no studs on this OL but willing to see what you do in the draft that will tell me all I need to know
How about we leave this up to the coaches. I believe the coaches may know more than us.
