The blazers are so bad at making trades just look at their previous trades they gave Powell and Roco to the clippers and got back a second round pick ,out the league bledsoe ,Justice winslow,Keon Johnson they’ll foshoe take the bulls pick and Gary Harris Chuma okeke and two 5 guys burgers💀
The Blazers want win now veterans to pair with Dame. I don’t see what we could offer to get their pick.
Blazers feel like the Wizards of the west in so many ways. Both teams keep throwing things at the wall and hoping it sticks.
This is why I’m hopeful that our FO has the patience to see the rebuild through instead of resorting to short-sighted quick fixes that do nothing but lower the long-term ceiling of the team for short-term gains.
I’m not sure if we should trade for *another* lotto pick this year if we already have two, at least one of whom might have trouble getting consistent minutes with how bloated with “currently just ok guys with a lot of potential” our roster already is. If anything we should probably consolidate what we already got for one higher level player.
Still makes no sense to me that they traded CJ when they did if it wasnt to start a multi year rebuild. Should have moved Dame too.
