Somewhere, a ref whispered “two shots for Harden” and doesn’t know why
In 20 years I can see him being the most underrated player of all time
Embiid has no help
Harden over Dwade for 3rd best SG of all time.
And I can easily see him getting another assist title.
Crazy how he didn’t make the all star team. I guess everyone can’t make it, but damn. 20 and 10 every night is amazing.

What a nonsense way for the NBA to avoid saying he’s the second player with multiple scoring and assist titles. The first is Russ with two scoring titles and three assist titles.
Isn’t Westbrook the first player with 2 scoring titles and 3 assist titles?
Not gonna lie, this is pretty dope given all the “he’s fat and washed” conversations we’ve all had since his last days in Houston.
Top 3 pg ever and I’m sick of people acting like he’s not.
Also 10 flopping titles.
Does that make him an AASSS? 😝
lol i forgot he averaged over 11 assists that year, good fucking god
He needs to put a ring on it.
THE GOAT
He got clowned on for calling himself one of the most unselfish players ever. But Beardman’s been sacrificing his talents his whole career with very little pouting.
In OKC, Scott Brooks played him as 6th man for 3 years in, despite being one of the most talented players on the team.
In Houston, Tim Fertitta refused to go over the luxury tax and surround him with better players, despite being one game away from an NBA finals in 2018. (The next year he averaged 36ppg 7rpg 8apg)
In Brooklyn, Kyrie Irving played less games then Harden, despite Harden being injured.
In Philadelphia, he took a pay cut so the Doc Rivers could sign more depth, despite being owed $15million more.
Generational talent that’s been adapting and being unselfish since he entered the league.
If you go by totals, he lead the league in scoring 4 times and assists once
Watching Harden play with Embiid has been a pleasure. The two jive so well.
This is an incredible achievement, but I think the 65-game minimum is a much needed improvement. Trae Young got 123 more assists than Harden in 15 more played games this season – he averaged 10.2 APG to Harden’s 10.7, and 26.2 PPG to Harden’s 21, yet Harden is constantly mentioned as the biggest all star snub.
How is he not an all star.. pretty amazing
Nice to finally see some good harden praise this year. This man been disrespected too much the past couple of years. 3rd greatest sg of all time imo.
Yeah.
Wonder what his number would look like if defenders were allowed to get near him without getting a foul for breathing his air tho.
_shrugs_
You forgot 6+ Turnover Titles 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, & 2019. Better down vote this harder to hide this truth.
Harden has had some low lows that make it difficult for the hoops universe to accurately assess his value:
– horrifically bad shooting performances during several key playoff moments
– deliberately playing poorly at the end of his tenure with the Rockets in order to accelerate a trade
– playing very badly sometimes with the Nets and deliberately playing poorly (or pretending to be injured) in order to accelerate a trade
– getting off to a dlow start with Philly, looking possibly washed
– routinely being out of shape, playing turnstile defense, and settling for really bad stepback 3s
Is there a title for drawing the most contact resulting in free throws?
That’s crazy actually
I really hope Harden gets a ring before he goes. His accomplishments tend me to be overshadowed by better scorers (Durant) and better shooters (Steph). But dude has remained consistent on being a great to amazing player and deserves all the accolades.
Generational underrated talent
Hot take he would be a top 20 player all time if he wins a ring
Regular season beast! Playoff pussay!
