Time for the Rockets to start changing the culture. HC should help the young guys become better team player and should guide them to succeed in the future. Rockets needed good shooting coach. Im thinking they will trade Nix and Tate for bigger and better player.
He basically says, i will do what i will do and thats none of your concern. Youll see when i come up with something.

Stone ain't stupid, he knows any mention of Kpj would be over blown, it has been all year. Stone Lawyer by trade, the press conference did what it was supposed to inspire, and address the latest directional change of the organization. Any mention of Kpj would have you guys saying see they do dance to the beat of Kpj every decision they make is about what kpj feels. He smart, he gave yall no Raw meat.

I feel like Stone is just saying nice things. And it's true the young guys will benefit from another coach just like they would having other vets come through. Like maybe DJ Augustine is replaced with Austin Rivers as the guard vet.
I'm not sure a really good player like Jaylen Brown would want to join a team of youngsters like we have, but Cam Johnson might because his experience in the league is similar the the level of our players. Just like Nick Nurse may not want to coach in Houston but maybe Kenny Atkinson my want to do his second tenure with the Rockets.
Of course, shoot as high as you can but be ready to accept what you get. I feel Van Gundy is the biggest name head coach we could get. D'Antoni likes vets. Not sure he wants to be teaching young players even if it means he will have Harden again. I put my money on the Atkinson hire and start piecing next year's roster together as soon as possible. Give him a 1 year contract with a second year option.

Also think Stone's ability as GM is about equal to Silas's ability to coach. He made some good trades and some bad ones. Offered Oladipo a large contract but he didn't bite. Dodged a bullet there. Drafted well. He is learning as he goes along. Same as Silas.
