Don’t even look at the top line stats – take a look at how the [advanced
stats](https://imgur.com/a/ACb4AgT) measure up. Jalen is a little bit of a better playmaker and is actually more efficient because he gets to the line more while Booker is a better shooter. For anyone worried about Jalen’s development I would say he’s been at or slightly ahead of Booker’s development – so not much to worry about for now.

Jalen has always reminded me a lot of Booker and Booker kind of being is ceiling. The suns kind of being our model of how we become relevant again. As stated previously, I think we bring in two veteran PGs to help facilitate and create for Jabari and Jalen.

Booker really took the next step when CP3 came into town.

You know who else had similar stats in their age 20, sophomore NBA season? Andrew Wiggins.

Jalen Green may become a star in the future, but comparisons like these don’t really say much beyond the fact that most NBA stars were at one point not stars. Instead I’d hope to see news about how hard Green is working in the offseason to improve his game both on offense and defense to accentuate his strengths and cover up his weaknesses.

Jalen reminds me of Shai more than Booker. What Shai has in size Jalen makes up in athleticism but they have the same fluidity and body control

We got a baby jokic, baby booker, and baby chris bosh. they are still BABIES tho, and will develop with time! trust the process

    Similar statistics, different mindsets.

Imagine what green could do with .9 more mpg

This is what I’ve been saying for a while now. Green is a “30 points at will” scorer. He needs to be allowed to just be an All-NBA Shooting Guard instead of having to have any kind of “combo guard” duties.

My hope is that James Harden, were he to sign with us, would be content getting 12 assists per game simply from getting the defense to come at him and leave Jalen space to shoot, Martin to cut, or Sengun to do something fancy.

The Rockets look a lot like the Suns did when they had Booker but no Paul. They just need a point guard and a good coach. We’re not that far away.

The TS% is misleading. Compared to the era, Bookers TS is higher compared to league average. In addition, with TS% being equal, I think being able to shoot is more valuable than getting to the line.
