Are you smoking the crack pipe? What does betting have to do with a lackluster season filled with moments of selfish basketball plays, team lacks unity, Raps had tons of potential to do more from the beginning and at the trade deadline but failed to move the needle.
I don’t bet and I’m annoyed with this team as a someone who’s a ride or die Raptors fan.

People have been gambling on sports basically since ancient Greece, probably before even. I don’t understand how one can conclude that legalizing gambling would make it more toxic. It was already happening behind the scenes.

I personally hate sports gambling and the influence it has on sports..
But fans on twitter and “fans” on this Sub don’t need sports betting to act nasty towards players or other fans. It’s already toxic.

I don’t even bet.
My only show of hate is how horrible the offense and defense became

Something can still get worse despite already being bad. Imagine a crazy fan with money on the line. Mad from losing the game who then gets even more mad when from losing money on top of that.
Which leads to Fred being told they hope his mom dies in dm. I mean wtf. Or even Dray the other night. He had someone call him insults in a reply to one of his tweets, saying he’s this and that for making a three because he lost him £20, along with a screenshot of his lost parlay. Dray just laughed at him and everyone supported Dray for that. And yhe idiot got flamed in his replies, with most laughing at him instead. And it can get far nastier in dms.

Get betting away from sports like how it used to be, it’s out of control with the constant commercials and ads about it.

Why would anyone bet on the shittiest half court offense in the NBA?

$1.4 Billion in revenue is actually insane though… But ya some people are wack
Making a bet is supposed to be fun, its a shame people bet what they cant afford and take it too seriously.
Sports betting or not, Chris Boucher should not be called a slave.
Freakin degenerates pissing away money
I posted [this exact article](https://old.reddit.com/r/torontoraptors/comments/12iobw1/hatred_hurled_at_raptors_stars_shows_ugly/) (ie – the exact same link) two hours before this post was made and it never appeared in the main sub or under ‘new’. Is there a reason for that?
