Wiggs still incoming. Say it with me: This team is not the same as the one we’ve seen ALL SEASON LONG.
(I know small sample size but still…)

and the Nasdaq has been up as well. crazy, right?
iguessimherenowok
true but tbf we’ve played some garbage teams

He really was the missing piece all along
Existing_Web_1300
Only concern really is the rust for Wiggins and playoff basketball pace. He won’t have nearly the same time to get re adjusted as he would in the regular season. Let’s not get our hopes up too much, but there’s definitely a window for a strong title defense.
Notorious2again
Such a dramatic and immediate impact. This team, all of a sudden, looks better than they did last April.

Love GP2 but damn I didn’t expect him to make such a big difference once he hit the floor. The team looks completely different defensively.

We let go of the 7 foot anchor and locked in 🔒

It’s not that I’m doubting that he’s helped, but we’ve been playing 3rd stringers and g-leaguers for the past few weeks.

I think this has gotta be taken with a grain of salt. I believe in GPII but the last few games we also weren’t playing against teams at full strength. We faced a lot of teams’ best players sitting on benches.

end of the season is weird though… so many tanking teams

With our powers combined….

I don’t even care what the stats are. Warriors games are simply way more fun to watch with him back.

I love GP2 as much as anyone, but this is perhaps correlation and not causation. GP2 has still been playing himself into shape, and I think he will absolutely be a huge part of however far the team goes in the playoffs, but the recent surge has been down to Draymond. All season, the Warriors have had a 111 Drtg with Draymond on the court, which would be good enough for 6th best in the league.
Since GP2 has been on the team, though, the Drtg while Draymond has been on (and GP2 off) has been 99.2. Which is insane.

We also scored over 150 per game since the “season finally starts now” (for the 29th time this season). I believe that’s good for 1st place in the nba in that time frame so shampionship guaranteed

The PPG will go down even more once Wigs is back.
adorabel23
as good as he’s been, there is some inconsistency with this data since there are so many teams resting players while we’re going almost full throttle
tsm106
SAC is gonna have a rude awakening or welcoming… with this team at full strength.
Underknee
Most teams weren’t playing their starters for a good chunk of those games
Substantial-Memory85
Small sample size but I’ll still bet on them being absolutely great on defense when it matters
