  1. Lauri is leading by example, we Finns have lot of respect for his decision to do his military service. He is huge rolemodel and people look up to him. Place where he goes have lot of experience dealing with athletes, so I'm confident he can train like he wants for next season and be ready.

  2. I don't think there's enough hype amongst Jazz fans about how good this guy is and that we have him for the forseeable future. He already bought a house here and likes it. Amazing that we traded away an all-star and got another one back on top of Ochai and picks!

  3. Collin not knowing Lauri had kids and a wife is hilarious 😂 but also concerning 😆 like bruh you see him everyday, you follow each other on social media, played on 2 teams together…and you don't know this dudes married with kids 😂 us fans even knew that lmao! Talk about un-observant 🙃

  4. We’re so lucky to have him, man. Serving your country is awesome, please Be safe Lauri! Can’t wait for next year

  5. Oh, interviewers. If you want to ask him off-court stuff like of his relationship with Walker on postgame interviews, don't give him an option to talk about on-court stuff. You should know by now he takes the option 😃😄

Also, his little smile when you first asked about Walker was way too cute. It totally tells a story of their relationship. When combined with his answer, it makes it even more clear how awesome duo they will be for years to come 😊

  6. I’ll tell you how Walker helps. Lauri is a Finn. He’s introverted. He doesn’t want to talk and certainly doesn’t want to be in the spotlight while talking. Having Walker there to take some of the attention makes Lauri feel more comfortable. I could be way off, but I don’t think I am. Lauri said himself it’s pushing him out of his comfort zone to be a vocal leader. He likes to keep his head down, work hard, and be an example. Now he’s being asked to vocalize that leadership, not in his mother tongue, and even though his English is amazing, that’s got to be a bit nerve-racking for him.
