  1. I hope they open the windows up so the fans outside can cheer too. If they were to put up some TVs or monitors outside to let ppl watch.

  2. Shelled out the money to go to game 1. Been saving for over a decade so I cannot wait. Game is going to be insane hoping the crowd reminds me of Arco thunder or anything similar to the Jazz game in December I went to. Love to see the love

  3. The only reason the Warrior fans were so loud for that last game was because the Kings were already locked up in their playoff spot so the Kings fans sold those tixs to the Warrior fans who were still fighting for playoff positioning. Especially after most of the main Kings players had the day off.

  4. An overlooked benefit of the Kings' being successful immediately upon the hiring of Mike Brown is that this season is going to put Keegan WAY ahead of the curve in terms of handling playoff pressure.

Even if he plays poorly in the playoffs this year, he'll have that behind him and he'll still have gained a ton of experience and knowledge on what it takes to be great.

He has the potential to become the 3rd member of a Kings big 3 one day, and nothing could be better for his development than exactly the situation he's in now!

  5. To be completely honest with You i think both teams feel about the same amount of pressure.

Golden state's legacy is engraved in stone. They have 4 rings. They have nothing to prove to anyone. There EXPECTED to win. Not sure if that equates to pressure to win.

Kings want to prove they are real and the regular season wasnt anf isnt a fluke. It wasnt and isnt a fluke no matter what but maybe thats giving them an added edge.

To be real honest i dont think either team feels THAT much pressure. Golden state is expected to win. That might add a little pressure but not really. Im actually super psyched for it

  6. Matt ease up on the rivalry thing. We have only been good for one season so far. Can we just focus on the post season for now? Rivalries arise organically, not because we think it would be cool or "good for the league".

  7. Been a kings fan since 08 (a painful time). Just recently found your podcast though Matt. Really enjoy following my fellow kings fans 🙂 you're awesome man!

  8. I disagree with your Guest. This series isnt coming down to defense.

Its coming down to hits their wide open looks. I love it when a team misses open looks and the narrative the next day was how good defensively the opposing team played.

Then when same said team hits the open looks it was because of how atrocious the opposing team defense was.

Its called a miss or make league for A reason. Players are too damn good and the league is called differently then it was in the 90s.

Good luck winning games in football with a great defense and terrible offense. Its a new era. Games are called differently now.

Its going to come down to what team hits their open looks in crunch time. Not which team is able to play lock down defense.

  9. This series is going to be a shootout and both teams have no chance of "stopping" the other. This is about trying to contain and getting some timely stops. Its basically how the Kings have played all season long and the biggest worry outside of Steph Curry dragging the Warriors across the finish line the way he did in game 2 of the season series is that the ref's are going to cost the Kings at pivotal moments. Game 1 is going to be tough, but I do think the Kings will split games 3 and 4 in Chase center. The Kings are too good of a road team for me to think that they won't be able to get at least 1 in the series. If we are able to get both home games to start the series then I think we will win in 5 but I see this going 7 games and who can say for certain how this group reacts to a game 7. One thing I also believe is that pressure begins to rise as teams are on the back end of the championship window and the Warriors will face unbelievable pressure to win a game 7. My hope is that Fox is that dude that is able to rise to the occasion b/c literally our hopes of being contenders over the next 5 yrs hinge on that dynamic.

  10. Kevin is annoying and an idiot, had to turn it off, he does not know anything about Sacramento kings basketball of its history or basketball period
